Verdict
CHALLY CHUTE won this last year and has the benefit of having had a run this time around. A solid campaigner, the selection scored at Group 3 level last November and showed his well-being with a smart runner-up effort at Limerick earlier this month. Starford won a Group 3 contest in April but may prefer a softer surface. Listed winner Shaool should go well, while Dreamkeeper is another to bear in mind.
Expert View Verdict
Last year's versatile winner Chally Chute returned with a fine effort in defeat at Limerick the other day and he should again go well given he's so consistent, but STARFORD can prove too progressive. The selection was a Group 3 winner at the Curragh in April and very much shaped as though this step back up to 12f was needed when sixth in the Group 2 Huxley Stakes at Chester last time. He's a confident selection. Bosphorus Rose is third choice although needs more to trouble the two already mentioned.
