Verdict

FORTUNE DANCER has proven to be tough to overhaul when she gets her own way and may be able to round out a four-timer, despite going up 30lb since her winning spree started. This is still realistically within her range now that the penny has dropped over fences. Cooleenymore and Overabottleofred are other consistent options to consider, while Lazy Sunday is no back number and should give another good account.

Expert View Verdict

CLOTILDA made a promising start over fences, finishing runner-up at both Exeter and Wincanton at around 2m4f. On each occasion she shaped as though the step up to 3m would suit but she didn't get beyond the 14th fence when given the chance at Wincanton last time. She remains fairly weighted off a mark of 117 with the potential for improvement over a staying trip. Fortune Dancer is on a four-timer and a 6lb rise isn't beyond her, although she won't want to be jumping left at times as when winning at Wincanton last time. The veteran Cooleenymore has returned to fences of late and been in good form, winning at Fontwell and then finishing runner-up from this mark at Wincanton. He's usually held up and could do with a decent pace to aim at.
