The Procrastinator made the perfect start to life over hurdles at Hereford recently and is a real player once again, but the vote goes to TUNISYA. She was switched to Faye Bramley after winning at Pau on Christmas Eve and given that she still holds a Cheltenham entry at this stage, the daughter of Tunis could be useful. Rules newcomer Madeforlovingyou warrants a market check.
TUNISYA is strongly fancied to make a winning stable debut here. The level of form she showed first time out in France is better than anything in this field and given she's proven over further on testing ground this stiff track should suit. The Procrastinator didn't beat all that much first time out over hurdles but she did show a good turn off foot and her bumper win suggests she should have more to offer. She can chase the selection home ahead of Lucy The Wire who had her limitations exposed in defeat last time.

It's hard to conclude that DIAMOND DEALER didn't stay in the Borders National, but he'd been progressing nicely up until then and might bounce back to form following an 81-day break. Buckna didn't jump well at Newbury latest but is still learning and should not be underestimated, although recent Hereford faller Ski Lodge looks a bigger threat given his profile.
Most of the field can be given a chance here but it is bottom weight CAHIER'S DEN who makes most appeal. He was outpaced a long way out over 2 1/2m on his chase debut but wasn't beaten all that far in the end so should relish this step up to 3m at a galloping track. He is on a good mark based on his hurdles form and should be able to defeat Ski Lodge who was still travelling well when coming down last time. The form of his previous narrow defeat was boosted earlier in the week and he will go close if his stamina holds up. Pierrot Jaguen went too fast on his first start since a wind op last time but did run well to a point and will also threaten if building on that.

Voodoo Angel has been holding her form well in handicaps of late and can be expected to mount a serious challenge, as can Master Dunraven, who showed considerably more when third at Plumpton last month. However, TOBY TWO SCOOPS gets the vote. Micky Hammond's charge failed to see out an extended 2m3f here latest but looks to have been found a decent opportunity back at 2m.
VOODOO ANGEL came clear with a progressive rival on her penultimate start and is forgiven her latest run which came soon enough and she was unsuited by the modest pace that day. This galloping track should suit and she can defeat dual purpose performer Toby Two Scoops who had proven consistent in this discipline until his latest run. He was beaten early that day and it was too bad to be true so he is worth another chance. Master Dunraven posted an improved effort when switched to easy ground last time and will be a danger if building on that.

The consistent LARGY FORCE goes well for Sean Bowen and looks the percentage call after three solid displays for her current yard. Unlucky not to back up her Uttoxeter win when she was was edged out in a tight finish at Windsor latest, there is plenty to like about her attitude and 2lb nudge doesn't appear restrictive. Roger Rarebit has also been in good heart and must be feared on these terms. Onesoc's yard won this last year and he is an interesting each-way option.
ONESOC looked in need of the run last time but he wasn't given a hard time and is taken to resume his improvement here continuing the good form of his yard. He proved hugely progressive last term on varying ground and he should get a decent pace to aim at. Empty Nest arrives in form and showed a willing attitude when runner up last time to a rival who has franked the form. He can fill the places with Frisby who was too keen over 3m over hurdles last time but was consistent in this discipline previously. He should appreciate the drop in trip and could shed his maiden tag.

Sean Bowen and Olly Murphy are a rewarding partnership to follow and they can strike again with the unexposed WOODLAND PARK. On just his fourth start in a handicap, the son of Walk In The Park was only half a length away from rewarding favourite backers when second at Uttoxeter most recently and looks very capable of brushing off a 2lb rise. Skuna Bay, Arcadian Star and Blue Carpet form the shortlist of threat, in that order of preference.
Novice winner SKUNA BAY split a useful pair last time under a positive ride at 2 1/2m and the winner that day has franked the form in a Grade 2. Now stepping back up to his optimum distance he is fancied to take advantage of a lenient opening mark. Woodland Park was a touch unlucky last time conceding first run after receiving a bump but the way he finished suggested that this longer trip would suit. He has looked a touch awkward so may have to settle for a place with top weight Esprit Du Potier who proved he retained his ability after a lay off last time. That run is worth marking up as he did best of those coming from off the pace and if his stamina holds up over this longer trip he should be on the premises.

Devon Skies is very much the boom or bust type as she has either won or been pulled up in each of her last eight outings, so it might be wise to go with the more solid option in LAYSOFT. The four-year-old filly took a step up to Listed company and finished a well-beaten third at Doncaster last time, but an opening mark of 101 looks workable and she could take advantage. Just Call Me Lucy completes the shortlist.
QUEENOFTHEJUKEBOX is a strong selection here. She wasn't given a hard time on her first start since a wind op last time but finished well posting an improved rating and suggesting that this longer trip would be of benefit. The handicapper has been generous so she can get the better of bumper winner Laysoft who also looks on a lenient opening mark following a promising Listed run last time. BO CRUZ relished the step up in distance when victorious by 10 lengths at Catterick last month and a 7lb rise might underestimate the manner of that success. With the likelihood of more to come, he looks the one to beat. Court At Slip hasn't finished outside the top three in each of his last four starts and should remain competitive, while Halfway House Lad is another to keep an eye on.
MYTHE BRIDGE looked the sole threat to a hugely progressive rival when coming down last time and is fancied to make amends off an unchanged mark. He's proven consistent in this sphere and the addition of the cheekpieces should sharpen up his jumping. The obvious danger is Bo Cruz who was a cosy winner last time when upped to 3m but he was aided by his main rival falling that day and didn't beat all that much. The consistent Court At Slip followed him home and the weak finisher has proven consistent so may be able to gain another place here.
