Verdict

RICES POOL cost 92,000 euros even before he was a close second on his sole start in a point-to-point last November. The winner of that race franked the form by landing a bumper at Ayr on Monday and the signs are all positive for this son of Milan's debut under Rules. The Noble Butler and Teletime are interesting debutants to keep a close eye on in the betting, although Par Avion showed promise on his debut at Exeter and he could be a bigger danger with experiences to draw on.
