Verdict
CROCUS TIME can usually be relied on to run her race at this level. Ron Barr's sprinter scored at Redcar on only her second start over the minimum trip and there may well be more to come from her. Sir Benedict has revived of late and is no forlorn hope off his current mark, while Highland Bear is another to consider reverting to a shorter trip for her handicap debut.
Expert View Verdict
The mare CROCUS TIME returned to something like her best when scoring at Redcar last time and she can follow up here under a penalty with her rider's claim a help. South Shore Island has slipped to a fair mark and may emerge as the danger off a reduced mark, although Eldeyaar in good form of late and still competitively weighted, and last-time-out Musselburgh third Sir Benedict are others to take seriously.
