Grams And Ounces and Lady Lunchalot, first and second in a large-field handicap of this quality at Chepstow last time, are expected to go well once again. Filament Of Gold finally came good at Wolverhampton last time - a track where he's been exclusively campaigned since September 2015. The jury is out as to whether he can reproduce his form after such a lengthy absence from turf. The reliable and consistent POWERED looks a safer alternative, whilst Petrify also commands respect.

Bella Alissa looked one to follow at Goodwood last season but was most disappointing on her first start for the Cowell team and cheekpieces are now applied. She needs a market check. Subjective ran inexplicably badly on reappearance and is another supplied with first-time headgear in a race of endless question marks. He has clear claims on his juvenile form but so has THE DALEY EXPRESS, who is a hopeful choice after an absence on his first start for Ron Harris.

Short Call scored comfortably on debut in a three-runner affair but faces a tougher task conceding weight all round, although her experience should serve her well and another good run is anticipated. Lynn's Memory is a fascinating contender for Joseph O'Brien and demands respect but AWESOME (nb) ran really well here behind Campion, beaten less than a length, and can go one better now. Pursuing The Dream is progressing steadily and the Hannon newcomer, Jane Rose, is worth a market check.

REALIZE showed a good attitude to score on his first start for David Simcock and can defy a 4lb rise despite the majority of his winning form being delivered on synthetic surfaces. Midhmaar is the class act and must go well, especially with the application of first-time cheekpieces expected to sharpen up his act further. Reaver is respected on the best of his form, while Wink Oliver and Mister Musicmaster arrive in good heart and spice up an interesting contest.

MAMNOON improved for the drop down to 1m2f and for her debut on turf when getting off the mark here and a 6lb rise, combined with the drop in trip, could potentially bring about further progress. Mowhoob has been fairly consistent over the past couple of months and is respected back on turf, while Aye Aye Skipper has every chance on his third at Brighton last time.

Paul Cole's ZAMBEZI QUEEN took advantage of his opening handicap mark when a five-length victor at Chepstow last time. Another bold showing looks on the cards here despite the 12lb rise to what could be a far more accurate representation of his ability from the assessor. Opening Time looks sure to have more to come from an untouched mark following his second last time out, while Black Bubba can be forgiven his Leicester performance and is also considered.

COMPTON PRINCE has scored twice over course and distance in his last three starts, including last time and he is backed to continue his love affair with the Somerset course. He is up another 2lb to a mark of 55 but it should pose no problem having scored off a higher mark in the past. Captain Ryan followed him home on one of those occasions and heads the list of challengers along with Our Lord, who is respected.
