SHARPS CHOICE looked likely to open his account when coming to grief unluckily at the last with the race at his mercy last time and can make amends here for the Champion Trainer Willie Mullins. Great Khan has been on the premises of late and looks set go well once again. He could be the main danger, while Joseph O'Brien's Oath Breaker has threatened to get involved in his last few contests and could be worth giving one last chance.

GLENDINE RIVER was impressive when running out an 11-length victor at Tramore last time and is backed to combat the 9lb rise from the assessor here and take all the beating once again. Pat's Pearl is feared having been dropped 2lb for his head defeat in a maiden hurdle and steps up in trip now in search of that elusive victory. Of the remainder, respect is given to Strike Is Back and Veronica's Napkin, who represent Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead respectively.

Alan Fleming's HAROLD PETO hasn't done a lot wrong over hurdles so far and could be primed for a big effort here. He was only half-a-length behind Carrigmoorna Matt at Killarney last time, doing his best work at the end, and today's extra yardage can suit. Polymath has to be respected in the Gigginstown maroon, while Mistheatre wasn't far behind a useful mare at Limerick last time when finishing third and could have more to come.

DEPUTY'S PASS arrives after a 660 day absence for Alan Fleming, but he did show a fair level of form when last seen behind some smart types and perhaps the eight-year-old can start making up for lost time. A market check on the day is advised and he looks sure to go well if supported in the betting, while Vanishing Point looks best of the Gordon Elliott-trained duo. Ben Button arrives for his first start in almost a year and is another who merits respect for team Mullins.

WHATS THE PLOT shades the verdict in a competitive event. He produced a career best performance when landing a Ballinrobe handicap last time and another bold bid looks assured. Both the Gigginstown runners, Leomar and Dawn In The Park, look to have solid chances, although it is worth noting that stable jockey Bryan Cooper rides the former, while Andratx won't give up on the hat-trick without a fight.

Kilkeaskins First is weighted to reverse 2m5f course form with Ashjan, while Shek O Lad and Ardview Boy warrant respect following runner-up finishes at Roscommon and Down Royal respectively. However, it might pay to side with the top-rated SPORTS BARROW. He performed with plenty of credit when third on his latest visit to Scotland (Perth) and should give another good account under former champion jockey Paul Townend.

The beautifully bred BLIXT produced her best effort yet when chasing home subsequent hurdles scorer Ladysingstheblues at Clonmel and a repeat performance will make her difficult to beat. That said, there looks to be a number of dangers. Decision Time tops the list arriving on the back of narrow defeats at both Wexford and Tramore, while Osco Mosco, Gemma's Flame and Flamingo's Court also hold solid claims.
