BAND OF OUTLAWS built on his debut fifth at Fairyhouse when second over this trip at Roscommon last time out and sets the form standard for the rest to aim at based on that performance. Vicky Cristina was putting in her best work in the closing stages over the extended 6f at Listowel when last sighted and is the one expected to put up most resistance. The pick of the newcomers may be Mutawasem and South East, both of whom merit close inspection in the betting first time out.

HATTON CROSS has winning C&D form to his name and hinted his turn was fast approaching again when touched off by a half length over 6f at Cork last time. The return to 7f is considered a positive as he bids to defy a 2lb rise. Burren View Lady is 4lb higher than when scoring at Ayr latest and has place possibilities, likewise I Will Excel, a 5f winner who drops back in trip after finishing a creditable fourth over 1m at Leopardstown.

Roman Wells has shown promise in three runs over 7f to 1m on the all-weather this year and should be thereabouts if putting his best foot forward, though marginal preference is for BREEZE, who debuted over the extended 1m2f at Dundalk but appeared to benefit from the drop to a mile when finishing fourth at the Curragh last time. Favorite Story is going the right way and has place claims along with Puppetshow.

Jealika has shown her best form in testing conditions and might not appreciate this drying ground, while Not A Bad Oul Day arrives in excellent form but could struggle to give so much weight away to this field. Nutcracker Suite is better than what she showed last time but TEO'S MUSIC could be nicely handicapped for Jim Bolger. Stall in one is certainly no negative, and with the experienced handler now coming into some form, perhaps a drop in trip will suit this daughter of Intense Focus.

TRY AGAIN had a very successful winter at Dundalk winning three on the bounce and confirmed those efforts when returning to turf when finishing second at Leopardstown before winning at Hamilton last month. A 6lb rise from that win seems very fair and the son of Dubai Destination can continue in this fine form. Fountain won at Fairyhouse on Friday night and merits consideration if turning out again, while others to note include Snoozing Indian and handicap debutant Sitting Bull.

FIESOLE has been in excellent form over timber having won two of his last three starts and could well have more to offer returning to the Flat off a mark just 1lb higher than his last win for Luca Cumani in August 2015. Roibeard has been in good heart this year and looks a solid threat, while Indian Tomahawk (engaged to run at Fairyhouse on Friday) looks best of the remainder.

WORLD WAR drops down in both trip and class after looking a non-stayer on that occasion at Navan but this looks a more realistic target and the application of first-time blinkers could make a vital difference for this well bred colt. Jim Bolger has his string in excellent form and Modern Approach bids to bounce back to form after disappointing in a handicap at the Curragh last week, while Druids Cross completes the shortlist.
