A fine servant with a terrific record racing right-handed, JALOUSIE MAZA (5) will be expected to bounce back from her Enghien sanction and bring home the bacon. She will still meet resistance from JAVA FAST (1) who is on a hat-trick for Yoann Lebourgeois, and JACINTHE DU BOIRON (8) who has picked up where she left off in the spring. The complicated JUNON DE LOU (9) reassured at Enghien 3 weeks ago and, given her aptitude for racing clockwise, will be no soft touch.
Somewhat unlucky but still never up to the task when sanctioned in a Class D over course and distance a week ago. Hind shoes off this time but still appears to be out of his depth

Reassuring 2nd of 11 finishers in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Jean le Gonidec early-June after having been disqualified in Prix Albert Demarcq. Incurs the penalty but still looks principal danger to JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL (9)
Reassuring 2nd of 11 finishers in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Jean le Gonidec early-June after having been disqualified in Prix Albert Demarcq. Incurs the penalty but still looks principal danger to JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL (9)
An absolute revelation this season, JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL (9) makes his first appearance since winning the Gr.2 Prix Albert Demarcq 3 months ago and has every chance of pulling off the 6-timer. That being said, JACK TONIC (12) is an exceptional campaigner when focused, comes here fresh and, even from the 2nd line, looks the main threat. JET EXPRESS (7) may not be an obvious choice considering his recent numbers but he has proven form against a number of these and looks an interesting candidate. The Gr.1-winning, and barefoot, JASPER DES CHARMES (10) has been struggling with stride issues lately but the engagement of Yoann Lebourgeois may be just the ticket to his redemption.
Makes first appearance under the saddle after coming 2nd of 10 in a 3025m Lucon Class F on 21 July. Hind shoes off but still appears to be facing a stiff test

A veritable steamroller over the past 3 months, INDIGO BEACH (7) came 2nd under these conditions before winning 3 on the trot, and is an obvious preference here. Andrea Roussel will still be expecting opposition from the fine ICARE DU TRESOR (6) who is clearly close to his race, and the omnipresent IBILI D'OCCAGNES (8) who will be dangerous if he stays in stride. HATE YOU BEYLEV (4) steps up in category in search of the 3-timer and although unlikely to pull it off with shoes back on, should nevertheless figure prominently.
Placed 4 times in succession before coming 6th of 11 in a 2650m Pornichet Class E 2 weeks ago and, in this company, is unlikely to ruffle any feathers

Excellent in 3 before oddly flopping to last of 15 in a 2800m Vichy Class F on 2 July. Most likely a blip on the radar and will be expected to bounce back and finish in the mix

Excellent when focused and unshod, HOCHE (12) met little opposition here last month and will be well-backed for a repeat. Francois Lagadeuc will still want to be wary of HASARD D'ERABLE (11) who is back at his best, and a barefoot HORACIO DE CERISY (4) who is reunited with Franck Nivard who won with him at Lisieux mid-May. HABIBI (7) has shown lately that he is back on the right track and will not be far off the mark.

The main protagonists find themselves on the second row here, with little to separate them, however preference goes to KELYO DU SOLNAN (15) who could well have secured a 4-timer had he kept his action together at Enghien mid-July. Similarly well-engaged at the limit of earnings, KILLER DE CAHOT (16) should not be too hastily-judged for his recent sanction and, reunited with his handler, can successfully bounce back. Hard to fault when focused, and 25m better off, KANTOUTSTART (9) has been close to his race for some time and, barefoot for the occasion, just gets the nod over KOMEO DU DOME (6) who races unshod-behind for the first time.

Winner of 4 from 6 career starts, KRAKANTE (11) cantered up over shorter here 3 weeks ago and even incurring the penalty, still looks the horse to beat. 25m better off and encouraging at Granville last time, KITTY PIYA (4) looks a major player, as does the reinvigorated KINDLINESS (9) who missed out by little for victory at Caen mid-June. KALVITA LEBEL (1) is full of potential and should find conditions to her liking here.

In the frame in last 2, most recently 2nd to KRONOS JIEL (3) in a 2400m Amiens Class E a fortnight ago. In better company this time and no more than a minor place chance

Made it 5 straight sanctions when faulting in a 2950m Class D at Le Mans last Saturday. Has obvious ability though and the new configuration may do just the job. First 5

Disappointing for the most part lately, latterly sanctioned in a 2750m harness Class E here 10 days ago and, even with front shoes off, is unlikely to shake things up

Back under the saddle after faulting in a harness Class E over course and distance late-July. Has little love for the venue, but is proven in the discipline, and should not be overlooked

7th behind KOUREAS D'ELA (6) in a harness Class E over course and distance 10 days ago. Pleased on lone monte appearance and with Paul Ploquin in the irons, will be afforded every chance

Never far from faulting but came in an encouraging 3rd of 10 in a 2600m Montignac Class F a fortnight ago and, considering what she showed at Caen in June, can make a big splash

5th to KALINKA MELRIC (10) on monte debut before coming 4th of 11 in a 2725m harness Class E here on 9 July. Not a priority but races barefoot and can get in on the action

Still a handful since switching codes but left a very good impression when 2nd of 11 in a 2950m Le Mans Class D last weekend. Has a lot more to give and will justifiably garner considerable support

A tricky filly at the best of times, KOUREAS D'ELA (6) nonetheless opened her monte account, in good order, at Angers early-June. She showed her form under harness here 10 days ago and, shod to preference, looks a leading contender. Benjamin Rochard will still be keeping an eye on the tricky but capable KALINKA MELRIC (10) who reassured in the provinces last time out. KRONOS JIEL (3) may not be the easiest of horses to handle but he won superbly at Amiens recently and is by no means out of the picture. KABALA QUICK (12) is an interesting future prospect and merits respect.
Pleasant 4th of 10 in a 2325m Brehal Class H on 22 July but, in this category, will have little to contribute

Pleased at Le Mont-Saint-Michel before faulting, when clearly in form, in a 2725m Pornichet Class E last weekend. Not a priority but will be expected to make his presence felt

Has started to show his potential, latterly 2nd to a very good horse in a 2875m Argentan Class E mid-July, and should figure prominently at the reckoning

Seldom far from the action when focused, however latest last of 5 in a 2450m Caen Class D early-June will not cut the mustard here, even with pads off this time

Runner-up in 3 of 4 to date, most recently in a Class E over course and distance 3 weeks ago, and even in the absence of Yoann Lebourgeois this time, still looks competitively well-in

Returns to racing padded-all-4 after coming a tenacious 2nd of 11 in a 2000m Saint-Galmier Class E 10 days ago. Is not about to lose his maiden tag but should nevertheless give a competitive account

Although sanctioned as often as not, LUTIN JABA (6) has been showing his ability over recent weeks and, delegated to Yoann Lebourgeois for the occasion, can make this his own. LOULOU DE L'AUNAY (12) benefits from a very good entry here and has a reasonable chance of making his Cabourg debut a winning one. LEADER (9) will have come on for his comeback run here and, fitted with 4 pads for the first time, will similarly have his chances. LARGO DE LA BESSE (10) caught the eye here last time out and will be no pushover.
