GABRIAL THE ONE put in a career best when going down narrowly over C&D two weeks ago and he looks the one to beat today. Barristan The Bold brings the best form to the table but stall 10 leaves him vulnerable today, while similar comments also apply to Jensue. Others to consider are Jojo, Pop The Cork and Water Diviner.

INTRANSIGENT returned to winning ways over this track and trip here two weeks ago and the veteran appears to have plenty in his favour once again this afternoon. Twin Appeal has to be respected following his victory at Beverley on Tuesday, although a 6lb penalty will make his life tougher today. Baltic Prince is another recent winner to consider, while Jacob Black has solid each-way claims.

KINKS has been highly tried this season and he makes plenty of appeal on his nursery debut off a mark of 93. The son of Sixties Icon should be helped by stall one and could be hard to peg back if getting to the front. Good Luck Fox finished behind the selection last time out but his previous form is stronger, while Wild Edric and Get The Rhythm complete the shortlist.

SIMOON has run well in defeat on multiple occasions this season and he arrives here having finished second at Kempton earlier in the month. A 1lb rise in the ratings for that effort is fair and he should not be underestimated this afternoon. Hollydaze was successful at Brighton last month and another good run can be expected from her today, while Mukhayyam and Empress Ali are others who could make the frame.

ALKHAWANEEJ BOY would be hard to oppose if reappearing following a year off the track in the same form as when romping away with victory on heavy ground at Leicester last September. Qallaab has performed respectably in two outings on the all-weather and makes the shortlist here along with Scoffsman, while Blame It On Me appears the pick of the newcomers and any market support should be noted.

Balaawy disappointed when favourite at Wolves last time but can run well dropping in trip having knocked on the door over this distance on good to soft at Lingfield. Kempton winner Rippling Waters is respected, while Last Enchantment was only a neck away at Brighton on her first run following wind surgery. However, BELL HEATHER was beaten just half a length here off 1lb lower last time and looks set for a prominent role representing leading course owner Dr Marwan Koukash.

Richard Fahey's pair of course winners, Angel Gabrial and Gabrial's King, are both respected here, with the former only 1lb higher than when making the podium on the last three occasions. Faithful Mount and Always Resolute were third and fourth respectively over C&D last time and shouldn't be too far away. However, a chance is taken on the lightly-raced OUR POWER, who bumped into a useful winner at Chepstow but could have more to come up in trip.
