KING'S RESTE brings solid form to the table and if she can run up to her mark of 110, the daughter of King's Theatre will be hard to beat in the opener. Sula Island won over 1m4f on the Flat and she could prove to be the main threat to the selection, despite her lack of experience over hurdles. Foxtrot Juliet displayed promise in bumpers and is the pick of the remainder.

CRACKER FACTORY has won all three previous starts over hurdles in extremely impressive fashion and Alan King's gelding is hard to oppose despite conceding weight all round. Breakfast is another proven winner over obstacles, having scored over C&D last month, and he is an obvious threat to the selection. Jack Regan is a three-time winner on the Flat and that includes his success at Doncaster last time out. If he takes to hurdling his official rating of 88 on the level suggests he could make his mark in a race of this nature.

ELKSTONE arrives here having won two of his last three starts and on the other occasion the seven-year-old was only beaten a neck into second. His course record is also impressive and his form figures over this C&D read 2212. Boss Des Mottes is another who arrives here in good form and his the pick of the remainder, ahead of Old Salt and My Renaissance.

CANDY BURG returned from a spell over hurdles to land a handicap chase off 7lb lower at Newton Abbot last time, taking his record over the larger obstacles to 3-3 in the process. There may be more to come from Olly Murphy's charge in this sphere and he shades the vote ahead of Buster Thomas, who is rated 4lb higher than when striking at Wincanton in April, and Not A Role Model, who was far from disgraced when fourth in the Summer Plate over C&D latest.

L'INGANNO FELICE arrives here on a five-timer. Three of those victories have come over C&D, including in Listed handicap last time out, and he rates the one to beat, despite a 9lb rise in the ratings. Hatcher is worth a market check now going handicapping for Dan Skelton, having been in great form in novice hurdles this summer. Cause Toujours returns from a 106-day break and is worth a market check now fitted with a new headgear combination.

KIRUNA PEAK has taken some time to regain her confidence following a crunching fall in July and, even though she was well held at Worcester in a maiden last time, her jumping was at least more fluent which offers hope of a bold bid here having dropped back to the mark she was set to score off at Uttoxeter before coming to grief at the last. Fergal O'Brien has reapplied the hood and with claiming jockey Connor Brace removing 10lb in the plate, she could gain her first hurdles victory. Gold Class was second at Uttoxeter last time and is respected just 2lb higher, while the veteran Anton Dolin shaped well when second over course and distance last time and has to be considered.

Peter Bowen's filly GET AN OSCAR already has a wealth of experience under her belt and the point winner got off the mark under Rules when successful at Hexham in June. She was never in danger at the finish that day and rates as the one to beat following a late-summer rest. Earlofthecotswolds is sure to be popular but lacked a bit of pace on debut at Fakenham and may need it softer to be a leading contender, while Leofric represents a rare jumps runner for David O'Meara, and is a fascinating given he cost 215,000 guineas as a yearling.
