Erich Bloch and Archaeology both bring solid form to the table, while Good Answer is certainly bred to have plenty of ability, being a half-brother to plenty of winners including Group 1 scorer Krypton Factor. However, preference is for the Aidan O'Brien-trained newcomer WESTERN FRONTIER. The Scat Daddy colt, also bred to be very smart, cost a whopping 825,000 euros at the Arqana May Breeze-Up sales for two-year-olds and his powerful connections will be expecting a big run.

FREIHEIT has earned a rating of 69, the highest in this line-up, with a number of solid performances in defeat and this represents a fantastic opportunity for Willie McCreery's filly to open her account. Al Batal has performed to a decent level in each of his five starts so far and Amy O'Hanlon taking 10lb off his back will be a big help, while Chillala is certainly no forlorn hope on her return to maiden company.

It might pay to side with POLLY DOUGLAS, who boasts C&D-winning form, arrives on the back of a narrow defeat over the extended 6f at Listowel and may improve for the application of first-time blinkers. Handsome Maverick is quickly turned out following a close third at Fairyhouse on Monday and he is likely to be in the shake-up again. First Bombardment, Mercury, Baby Power and Dash D'Or add further spice to the race.

A number of nursery debutants have to enter the reckoning here, most notably Whitsunday Islands, who should continue to improve for master handler Aidan O'Brien. Ozone, Ploughland and Vociferous Marette are also of interest now handicapping, but NIKEANDNEMESIS gets the vote. Willie McCreery's filly got the better of Calorific and previous winner Gold Jasmine at Naas last time, and can go well again despite an 8lb rise.

MADAME DELAVANTI was much improved when producing an encouraging run over 1m1f at Tipperary, and connections will be hoping the drop back to a mile can help her get off the mark. Joseph O'Brien's Holy Roman Emperor filly Too Precious was third over course and distance last time and should be on the premises with a similar showing, while Where To Next and Effernock Fizz are others with place claims.

PEDISNAP got back to winning ways when a neck ahead of Lizard Point at Gowran Park and with the drop back to a mile a positive, she should be capable of handling the 4lb rise on this occasion. Innamorare missed out on the hat-trick last time but looks the main opposition, although Little Camacho has claims on her Down Royal victory earlier this month, which came two starts ago, and Listowel scorer Time Queen is also respected.

WAVEPOINT was only collared in the shadow of the post over track and trip and even though the handicapper has given him a 3lb hike, Gavin Cromwell's gelding looks primed to go close. Dream Point was beaten a long way over the extended mile at Galway but should relish the return to this trip, while Invincible Queen ran well over a mile at Gowran but has yet to tackle a distance this far. Chaparral Dream and Highly Toxic also warrant consideration.

Military Hill has won three of his last five, including at Hamilton last week, but his previous Irish successes have come in claiming company. Danehill Quest arrives on the back of a victory at Killarney but the jury is out as to whether he stays this far, so preference is for LADY BOOMERANG. John Geoghegan's filly won well at Killarney and though beaten at Listowel subsequently, the return to this trip could see her back to winning ways. Divine Approach wasn't beaten far at Killarney latest and is another to note.
