The likes of Creative Talent and Rock Lobster both have the form to go well in this contest but they have also had plenty of chances already, unlike LIGHT THAT. The four-year-old makes just his second start over hurdles and he finished a fine second at Clonmel on his debut. If he takes a step forward from that run then he could prove very hard to beat. Hickey's Rock and Miss Lautrec are two interesting newcomers.

The application of a hood appears to have been the making of BLOOD CRAZED TIGER, who was a hugely impressive winner of his hurdling debut at Gowran a couple of weeks ago and this step up in trip from 2m4f may bring about some improvement. Oathkeeper had yet to play his hand when falling two from home at Listowel last time and he could prove to be the main danger if that has not left a mark on the youngster. Double Take completes the shortlist, although he appears to have plenty to find with the selection.

Call Vinnie looked the likely winner had he not come down at the last on his most recent start at Gowran and a 2lb rise for that effort looks to be fair enough. FIDDLERS BOW was an impressive winner on his penultimate start over hurdles and he showed that he can go well from this mark when third at Listowel next time. Since then the seven-year-old has since finished a close second over fences and he could be in the mix once again today. Brogine and Courtin Bb are others to arrive here in decent form.

Tell Us More makes his debut for Gordon Elliott this afternoon and it will be interesting to see if his new trainer can bring about any improvement in this undoubtedly talented performer. However, the preference is for DRAYCOTT PLACE, who bolted up at Sligo last month and he can overcome a 9lb rise for that success. Upazo and Mr Diablo are others to make the shortlist, while Darwins Fox is worth keeping an eye on due to the form of the yard.

New Kid In Town was successful at Kilbeggan last month but he failed to follow up under his penalty next time and the same could well happen here. Vinnie Luck is another to shoulder 7lb extra for his win at Sligo a few weeks ago and he looks to have a bright future ahead of him in this sphere. That said, the preference is for M M D SIZER, who won a competitive event on his hurdles debut back in April and this winning pointer should only improve for going over the larger obstacles.

ROGUE AGENT hasn't been at his best in his last two efforts but a repeat of his August third to the progressive Peregrine Run in a 20-runner maiden hurdle would be enough to land this. The five-year-old looks fairly handicapped off 104 and the booking of Denis O'Regan is intriguing. Bakers Street and Wilcos Mo Chara arrive here on the back of recent impressive victories and the latter especially looks to be a key danger to the selection, while Summer Storm has some fair form and merits consideration.

BARGY LADY was happy to sit just off the pace before launching her race-winning bid at Listowel last month and the daughter of Yeats did it in stunning fashion, putting a 13-runner field to the sword in a matter of strides. The four-year-old looks like a solid prospect and should relish this better ground under Patrick Mullins. Morgan was just under six lengths behind Punchestown Festival mares' bumper second Forge Meadow when last seen in March and should relish this step back up in trip given his pedigree, while Nicole's Milan could prove best of the remainder.
