Flying North made all to win over 1m2f on turf at Lingfield but dominating over this shorter trip at this expansive track may prove rather more difficult. It might be worth giving another chance to BURRUMBEET, who needs to step up on the level of form he showed at Sandown last time but makes appeal on his preceding distance victory in a novice contest at Kempton. Pastime steps up from 7f and is no forlorn hope for a place.

Mark Johnston representative AUSSIE VIEW kept on at the same pace when second over 6f at Wolverhampton and promises to be suited by this step up in trip. Any money for the Roger Varian-trained Quduraat, a Teofilo filly, would be notable on her racecourse introduction. Another debutant to monitor closely in the betting is Richard Hannon inmate Chonburi, who is out of a half-sister to Havana Gold.

WHITE LIGHT left behind a moderate debut effort at Newbury when second at Salisbury, and is expected to improve again now granted this stiffer test. Pirate King is going the right way too and has place claims if building on his Bath third over an extended 1m3f. The pick of the remainder may be Motivator gelding Pegasus Kid, a newcomer from the James Fanshawe stable, with the trainer also represented by Deep Sea.

Wentworth Falls went well fresh when second to Gunmetal at Thirsk and with the winner having gone in again at Newmarket last week, a 1lb rise looks very fair. Watchable can be forgiven his effort at Epsom because he was carried wide, and a return to the C&D where he beat subsequent York winner George Bowen two starts ago gives him solid credentials. EQUITATION was fifth on that occasion but is expected to improve for the outing and the lightly-raced gelding represents a team that has a fine record at the track.

BOSSINEY BAY produced her best effort so far when fifth at Goodwood on her third start, and connections look to have found a suitable opportunity as she is open to the most progression in the field. Suprematism knocked on the door at Wolverhampton earlier in the year and is an interesting contender on his turf debut, while Teaser can benefit from a drop back down in distance.

Rich Identity paid for his early exertions at Goodwood and could be worth another chance, while Epic Fantasy is interesting with cheekpieces applied and James Doyle on board for the first time. Last-time-out winners Yorbelucky and Oneroa make some appeal, but KNIGHTED has plenty of scope for improvement. He was pulling away at the line when landing the spoils at Nottingham, and Kevin Ryan's three-year-old seems primed for more success throughout the summer.

Our Kylie is a gutsy sort who should give the form of this contest a solid enough look, though the three-year-olds appear to have more about them. Cape Liberty is fairly treated off 70 on her handicap bow, but PLACE DES VOSGES arguably has better form in the book. Second at Salisbury last time, the daughter of Rip Van Winkle put in a career best on that occasion and should enjoy this step up in distance.
