Duck Egg Blue looks best of the three to have run, having stayed on steadily enough when fourth of seven here last month. She should obviously progress for the experience but it's noteworthy that connections reach for a first-time visor already. The quartet of newcomers need to be checked in the market with Rock In Peace asked to give away considerable weight all round. His yard, which does well with juveniles, is rolling along pleasingly but a chance is taken on Michael Halford's Choisir filly, YULONG BAOBEI, who receives 11lb from the Lyons inmate.

The waters are very much muddied by the presence of the former Richard Hannon inmate, Miracle Ninetynine. He showed thoroughly consistent form in his eight juvenile performances but they all came over 7f or 1m so it is an intriguing decision by new connections to drop him to the minimum trip immediately. A Likely Story seems sure to land a small maiden sooner or later but is proving frustrating and if ASPAR can return at the level he displayed in a promising juvenile campaign then he could be too good for the likely Weld favourite. Rossie is a potential improver.

Allure was fourth in this very contest twelve months ago and hasn't been seen since that effort. She has 11lb to give away to her three-year-old rivals including IONIZATION who shaped well at the Curragh at the beginning of the month and will appreciate the extra furlong here. No Woman No Kry is entitled to improve plenty for her first run, while Lost In Love could prove best of the newcomers.

STRADA DI CARSOLI has to concede weight all round but represents a yard that enjoys plenty of success at this venue and the Showcasing colt created a really good impression over C&D last time when easily outpointing Schubert in the style of a progressive performer. He faces useful opposition though, notably recent scorers Colonel Maximus and Approcaillis, who are preferred in that order with both likely to come forward again. Whiskey Zulu is interesting in a first-time visor (disappointed last time) and Another Story, who sports a first-time hood, adds further spice to an interesting contest.

EASY BOY missed the start last time but finished well in a blanket finish to claim a respectable third place. If the four-year-old can start better this time under the guidance of Pat Smullen, he can make amends with a victory. Zorba The Greek is a consistent type and could still be weighted to win, while Doonard Prince and Ask Dad haven't been treated to the best of stalls, but they do save their best for this track and can fight it out for the final each-way place.

POETIC CHOICE returns to the all-weather following two runs on the grass, with mixed results, but she finds herself just 4lb above the mark off which she won over course and distance in March. Shannon Soul is another who should relish the return to this venue and he is starting to look dangerously well handicapped. Great Wide Open is another to make plenty of appeal in a race that most have some sort of chance. Askmour and Hurricane Cass also make the shortlist.

A highly-competitive race to close the card but preference is for the progressive DANEQUEST. The seven-year-old was a course and distance winner in April, while he was won and placed second in two subsequent starts. No Cash Flow has not been at his best over hurdles of late but he showed promise in two starts over 1m4f here in the winter and the step up in trip should suit. In The House is still open to improvement and she should have a race in her from this mark. The likes of Ibsen, Magnetic Force and My Manekineko are others who are worthy of consideration.
