BALDOMERO made a lot of money at a breeze-up sale in Deauville during the summer and Joseph O'Brien's charge is taken to make a winning debut. It's late in the year to be getting him out, so maybe things haven't been straightforward since he joined the yard, but the colt by Prix Morny and Middle Park winner Shalaa obviously had plenty of admirers in the ring and may have the talent to overcome inexperience. Queens Carriage looks to set the standard after a fine fourth in a strong Listed event here last time. She has shown several times that she has the ability to win a maiden. Anjalawi is actually rated a pound higher than the latter and did little wrong when beaten by a rival getting a huge weight concession in a nursery at this venue a week ago. She should go well along with the well-drawn Screen Siren who was third in a maiden at Cork. Ballydoyle newcomer Montego Bay is out of a half-sister to a Group 3 winning sprinter and this No Nay Never filly is another who could get involved.

RED CYMBAL can reverse placings with Pillar having been beaten a neck by the latter over 6f here last week. The pair were to the fore throughout and Anthony McCann's charge will be suited by dropping to the minimum trip over which he won at this track last winter. Pillar is obviously a danger again but, in a long career during which he's won six times, he's never managed back-to-back successes. Bambari is a dual course and distance winner who should be all the better for last month's run at Cork, and All About Ivy ran well when starting off for her new stable at Navan recently. Keepthebestsideout is a very big filly who stayed on well to be second last time. There is a day in her but she can be slow from stalls which could make things tricky for her from the inside stall.

BALLINLOUGH GALE ran well when chasing home the 84-rated Salsa at Thurles last time and can go one better with Colin Keane taking the ride for the first time. He's only run on easy ground so far, but most of Pat Martin's horses handle this surface so he should be able to transfer his form to the all-weather. Nawafeth has been travelling well before not really seeing out her races, but on ratings has every chance and she ran well on quick ground at Cork three starts back so might even improve for racing on this surface. Kushkame was second on debut here in March but that form hasn't worked out at all. No doubt Damien English will place Stately Home to advantage before long but the Clodovil gelding might need this first run since going close at Lingfield last winter, while Freepark is related to a couple of useful jumpers and is respected coming from a powerful yard in an ordinary maiden.

Owner James McAuley is two-handed, one of which he trains himself, Reflectionist, and his other representative, Hilltop's Dream, is part of the Denis Hogan string. Jessica Harrington has Jungle Cove, whilst she's also got reserve Oh So Chic in the mix, whilst the O'Briens, Joseph and Aidan, field BLUEBEARD'S CASTLE and Satin And Silk respectively. The former is back in trip now after finishing a neck second here a week ago and the War Front colt would be a deserving winner after some consistent efforts. The likes of Fastnet Crown and Feminism are others to factor in.

Ado McGuinness' booking of Gavin Ryan and Colin Keane respectively, for RAPHAEL and War Hero, is difficult to ignore. Ryan is top of the tree in the apprentice ranks, whilst Keane of course edges closer all the time to another champion jockey title. The former is drawn in stall eight and, with Ryan's 3lb claim, can get home in front after his recent C&D third. War Hero is berthed out in gate sixteen. He hasn't won over a mile but is still respected having won here on four occasions. Many have chances all told with Eden Gardens starting out for the Kevin Heffernan yard and second reserve Irish Poseidon due to begin for Matthew Smith.

It might be best to focus in on John Murphy's pair here, FALL FOR A KISS and Autumn Mist. By coincidence the Cork duo are drawn beside each other in stalls ten and eleven, and both will get their first experience of polytrack action on this occasion. Fall For A Kiss, owned by Olivia Hoare and her sister Paola Hewins, was bred by Murphy at his Highfort Stud, and the four-year-old is in search of a first win at the eighth attempt. The mile is likely to suit and she'd be a deserving victor after some consistent efforts. Each-way cases can be built for many others including Chagall and Raffaello.

Willie McCreery sends Arabeska and Windham Belle into battle here, but that pair and the rest might have to take a minor role behind A STEP TOO FAR. The Footstepsinthesand filly has remarkably notched six successes in a row, defying the assessor time after time. This winning spree has been on turf but it's not as if the selection hasn't shown something on the all-weather in the past, with placings achieved at this venue and at Kempton. This assignment could be the prelude to an attempt on a Listed race next month, in the hope of achieving some black-type before the end of the year. She's then set for a break. Breakfast Club remains very interesting with potentially more improvement to come.

Jessica Harrington is well represented with Psyche and Bella Brazil, whilst Gordon Elliott could also have two runners with the reserve, Ardamir, and UNCLE HENRY. A course and distance winner, the six-year-old made a winning return from a lengthy absence to take a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle in August. That marked a winning debut for the Elliott outfit, but it hasn't been so good from the Henrythenavigator gelding since. It appears to be a good move to come here now with the six-year-old as the 7lb allowance that the talented and in-form Sam Ewing has will aid his cause.
