This represents a gilt-edged opportunity for STERNRUBIN to open his account over timber. Philip Hobbs' charge sets a clear standard on his recent runner-up efforts at Ascot and Sandown and he is tough to oppose. Pengo's Boy returned from a break with a good third at Newton Abbot in March and he looks the logical threat to the selection. Nigel Hawke enjoyed a fantastic end to last season, and his Fashion Icon is of each-way interest.

TAYLOR didn't fluff her lines when sent off the 1-20 favourite to open her account over track and trip in a match last time, winning hard on the bridle. The opposition is greater numerically today but she should still have too much class and can land this with the minimum of fuss. Ley Lady Grey ran well behind a useful sort when last sighted and she can chase the selection home on her return from a break. Dashul and Trigger Point are the pick of the remainder.

Brody Bleu completed the hat-trick in good style at Chepstow last time and is clearly a horse on the upgrade, but he will certainly need to step up again to land this and he could find CARRIGMORNA KING too strong. The nine-year-old arrives on the back of an excellent third in a Grade Two handicap and can gain a deserved success from 1lb lower. Easily Pleased sports the first-time hood and can make his presence felt too.

As a winning pointer, the step up to this trip should suit Risk A Fine but he is a headstrong sort and may throw away his chance in the early stages. Preference is for MORE BUCK'S who has shaped as though this sort of test will suit. He took a step in the right direction when returned to good ground last time and he can get off the mark over hurdles in the first-time tongue-tie. Tara Tavey and Houston Dynimo enter calculations and complete the shortlist.

A competitive hunters' chase in which BLINDING LIGHTS gets only a tentative vote. Mary Sanderson's charge made a successful return to Rules racing when scoring bravely over this course and distance last month and he ought to make a bold follow up bid. Jepeck has been prolific between the flags of late and merits the utmost respect, while Third Chance and According To Harry can also play a part.

Philip Hobbs is well represented here and his BRAAVOS is taken to land the spoils. The son of Presenting fetched 85,000 pounds as a three-year-old and duly started his career in promising fashion with a neck second at Stratford. He can go one better this time, although there are several interesting newcomers, with Harry Fry's Air Horse One perhaps the pick. Savoy Court, Tapaculo and Murifield should be monitored closely in the betting too.
