SIZING TARA looked on good terms with himself when making smooth headway to score over this trip at Newton Abbot last month and an 8lb rise is unlikely to prevent him from mounting another bold bid. Working Class drops back in trip after picking up the silver medal over 2m5f at Warwick and is feared most, while Back On The Lash could feasibly build on his last run at Market Rasen now sporting a first-time hood.

HANG IN THERE was beaten by under a length over 2m4f at Fairyhouse when last sighted in April and is a potential improver now dropping back to this shorter trip. Mantovani is having his second start since wind surgery and now sports a new headgear combination, so may emerge as the main danger to the selection. Rosie Picture has shown promise in bumpers and is another to consider now debuting over timber.

Keep Moving returned to winning ways over a similar trip at Chepstow in April and should remain competitive off this 2lb higher perch, though of more interest is FIELD EXHIBITION, who has the benefit of a recent run to her name after picking up the silver medal over 2m5f at Newton Abbot last month. Others to bear in mind include consistent veteran Dandridge and Adimelo, who won impressively at Sligo in August.

HOT RYAN ran well in her attempt to land the hat-trick at Newton Abbot on her latest start and the drop in distance will suit David Pipe's mare as she tries to regain the winning thread. Nifty At Fifty was just denied by a neck at Southwell at the start of the month and is likely to be competitive once again, while Somethinboutangela could have further improvement to come on her second start for Dr Richard Newland.

VERBITUDE showed some promise last season, most notably when fourth at Hereford in March, and the four-year-old makes a fair amount of appeal on his handicap bow. Veiled Secret ended last season with a win at Taunton and he could have more to offer, while Never A Word has placed on his last couple of starts and has match fitness on his side.

VEXILLUM has shaped with greater promise on his last three outings and could take advantage of his sliding handicap mark. This drop in distance is unlikely to deter the 10-year-old, and he can put his experience to good use off a fair rating of 80. No No Tonic is unexposed but doesn't look obviously well treated off 88, while Searching drops in class and has shown promise over hurdles for these connections.

ROCOCO RIVER has a recent run under his belt and could double his career tally under Rules back at the venue where his first success came in May. The five-year-old had the remainder well beaten when finishing second at Newton Abbot last month and shaped there as though a step up to this sort of trip would really help. Monbeg Theatre was deemed good enough to participate in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham in March and drops in class now, while Padleyourowncanoe is also considered.
