Dun See Dee made the frame in each of her three hurdle starts last season and must enter calculations now returning, but KAFFIE edges the vote having had the benefit of a recent run. She confirmed promise shown in bumpers, including a soft-ground success, when third on her hurdling debut over an extended 2m6f at Hereford last month and that experience should stand her in good stead now. Young Victoria, also useful in bumpers, is respected first time over the sticks.
Dun See Dee is sure to go close if reproducing the pick of last season's efforts, while Kaffie is of obvious interest after a promising start over hurdles at Hereford, but Young Victoria ran to a pretty high level in bumpers and her pedigree points to her doing even better now hurdling up in trip.

Difficult to dismiss any of these seven runners with any confidence but EXPRESS LEADER makes most appeal. Paul Nicholls' gelding, who has been a model of consistency in eight starts so far, looked better than ever when runner-up over 2m4f on his handicap debut at Exeter last time and he has shown an ability to handle soft ground. Arrayan loves the mud but looks harshly treated so the promising All The Winds is most feared under talented conditional Peter Carberry.
Drumshambo is sure to be popular after looking unlucky at Huntingdon last week but this is a stronger affair and he's taken on with Arrayan, who handles the mud and will find this trip much more suitable than the 2¾m he tackled on his reappearance. Express Leader and Highway Code are also interesting in a race which is a lot more competitive than the numbers might suggest.

ROYAL CHARM should follow up last year's victory in this event with a clear round of jumping. He still held every chance when falling four from home in Listed company at Sandown last time and, having a faultless record in four previous trips to Exeter, he's difficult to oppose. Torphichen has cheekpieces back on after a disappointing effort in the visor at Ascot latest and he can lead the chasing pack home from Philip Hobbs' in-and-out gelding, Rougham.
Last year's winner Royal Charm was still on the bridle when falling 4 out in a listed race on his recent reappearance and has sound claims of staging a repeat, though Rougham and Torphichen will be no pushovers at their best.

ARAUCARIA appears to have been found the perfect race by new trainer, Donald McCain, to get her chasing career underway. High-class in bumpers and over hurdles in Ireland, she certainly has the scope to jump a fence and may not need to be at her best to score here. Ignoring Brixen's latest start, she has a good steady profile over hurdles and in bumpers and should give a good account now sent chasing, while Miss Saffron could go well at a price.
Araucaria was comfortably the best of these over hurdles and can make a winning chase debut for her new yard. Miss Saffron and Brixen look the most likely to benefit if she fails to deliver.

Great's Autrechene is a fascinating runner first time out for Venetia Williams having won a chase at Moulins in France most recently. He could be worth a second look in the betting market, while Rebeccas Choice has each-way claims after his fine placed effort at Ludlow 24 days ago.
Valley View impressed under Maurice Linehan at Towcester last time, and can follow up if in the same mood. Biggest danger may be the chase debutant Midnight Tuesday, while Pocket Aces hinted at a return to form last time.
