Which One Is Which possesses excellent bumper form and can be forgiven her hurdling debut at Warwick having jumped into the back of a rival and slipped on landing around halfway before being looked after by Barry Geraghty to complete in her own time. Although her claims look obvious on paper, preference goes to VERDANA BLUE, a 65,000gns purchase at the Tattersalls sale at Cheltenham last month for Nicky Henderson having shown a fair level of form in bumpers, including when fourth behind Snow Leopardess at Gowran in a Listed contest. Point-to-point winner SHALUNA is a half-brother to the useful staying chaser Viva Steve and has to be respected.

ROCKLANDER has improved over a stone since tackling handicap company having won his two starts at Chepstow and Leicester last month. Tom George's string are in decent form currently and he is still on an upward curve. Lord Of The Island returned with a solid performance at Towcester and shouldn't be inconvenienced by the drop back down in distance, while Space Oddity is open to improvement from his return at Fontwell.

TAGRITA benefited from some erratic jumping and The Organist stopping in front of her at Huntingdon when making her chase debut but she is entitled to have improved for the run and this looks a weaker contest than she encountered last time. Sainte Ladylime unseated in the same contest the selection won having jumped indifferently but should find Exeter an easier track to jump round, while Ivor's Queen may improve for going chasing having looked to reach her limit over timber.

This looks a clear match on paper between L'Ami Serge and LE PREZIEN who both possess a fair level of form over fences. The former was placed in the JLT Novices Chase at the Cheltenham Festival behind Black Hercules and should benefit from the drop back down in distance. The main issue is his tendency to jump out to his left which could cost him vital ground unless connections have managed to iron out the issue so preference goes to the latter, whose jumping improved as the round went on at Cheltenham when winning a Grade 2 and will appreciate the step up in distance here. Oscar Sunset should jump round in his own time for third place prize money.

Ballinvarrig landed this prize in 2013 but he has failed to complete the last twice and doubts must remain over the nine-year-old now. Long John won this last year and arrives in better form this time but a chance can be taken on BENZEL. The JP McManus-owned gelding remains unexposed for his age and could be one to relish this hefty drop in trip back under Aidan Coleman after being dropped a further 2lb by the assessor. The booking of Noel Fehily on Castarnie for the first time is interesting and Robert Walford's charge did make a pleasing reappearance at this venue last month.

GIVE ME A COPPER was well supported in the betting before being declared a non-runner at Doncaster last weekend and the 270,000 pounds purchase can make a winning start for Paul Nicholls. The son of Presenting was unbeaten in two starts between the flags and the second from his most recent start has been purchased by Gigginstown since and sent to Noel Meade to continue his career. Big Meadow displayed some respectable form in bumpers last season and made a promising start to life over hurdles when third 12 days ago, while Bindon Mill needs to brush up on his jumping but has the ability to go well.

ABBEYGREY eased his way into contention and was travelling well at Ludlow in October before stumbling and unseating his rider. That was his first start since 2014 and he would have gone very close to winning, but connections have found their charge a great chance for compensation. The seven-year-old is now 5lb lower and should account for Violets Girl, who ran much better at Wincanton last month and should relish this increase in distance, while Daizy and Thunder Pass complete the list of likely contenders.
