Triple bumper winner Mizzurka can play a leading role if taking to hurdles at the first time of asking but slight preference is for SILVER GYPSY. She won with plenty in hand over 2m at Uttoxeter last month and the step up to this trip should suit. Dun See Dee shaped nicely when third on her hurdling debut over this C&D last month and there could be some improvement to come from her so she commands respect.

STRADBROOK was far from disgraced on his reappearance at Folkestone last month and is entitled to strip fitter this afternoon. He is yet to produce his best over fences but is very attractively handicapped on the pick of his hurdles form. Maurisca has been performing with credit over hurdles of late and it would be no surprise to see him give a good account back over larger obstacles, while Philip Hobbs' chasing debutant Present To You is also shortlisted, along with Inside Dealer.

Chapoturgeon won the Jewson in 2009 but he was not at his best last term and he has no easy task on his reappearance this afternoon. His stablemate, Royal Charm, made an impressive winning debut over fences over this C&D last month and he looks sure to play a leading role but it could pay to side with SPORTS LINE. The former Willie Mullins inmate rounded off last season with an excellent third to Captain Cee Bee at Punchestown and he is sure to be fully tuned up on his first run for Donald McCain today.

PRINCE OF DENIAL posted his best effort yet at Warwick last month and there could still be a good deal of improvement to come from him. He can make his presence felt on his first foray into handicap company this afternoon. Requin got off the mark in a Stratford handicap back in March and a 6lb rise in the ratings might not prevent a big run if he is at the top of his game on his return to action. Johnny Mullen and Scoter Fontaine are other potential players.

Easter Legend has run out an impressive winner on both of her outings over fences and she looks sure to go well this afternoon but she might have her work cut out conceding 12lb to SWAY. Jonjo O'Neill's representative got off the mark over fences over 2m at Ludlow last month and the promising youngster might still have more to offer. Amber Brook is rated 145 over hurdles and she makes some appeal on her chasing debut.

Definity has a lengthy lay-off to overcome but he is an exciting prospect and could prove hard to beat on his chasing debut if he is firing on all cylinders first time out. However, with the benefit of race fitness, preference is for WYMOTT, who made an impressive winning debut over fences at Bangor last month. Adams Island scored over 3m at Uttoxeter last month and it would be churlish to leave him out of calculations.

This looks like a very tricky puzzle to solve but it could pay to take a chance on SPOT THE BALL. He was rather disappointing on his handicap debut over 2m1f at Chepstow last month but is evidently thought capable of better and, with the step up in trip likely to suit, he could show improved form. Kilvergan Boy has dropped to an attractive handicap mark and he is considered even though his recent form is rather uninspiring. French Leave can also figure if returning to his best.
