Pure Bliss accounted for both Gazette Bourgeoise (second) and Coquelicot (third) at Uttoxeter last month and the extra distance here can see her confirm that form. However, a chance is taken on David Pipe's point-to-point winner MAGGIES MOGUL, who was a beaten favourite at Ffos Las on her Rules debut. She finished a respectable fourth on that occasion and the form looks strong with the front two both scoring over hurdles since. Jockey bookings suggest Tashunka is the pick of Fergal O'Brien's duo and she could build on her promising Doncaster third on her reappearance.

KARL PHILIPPE, who kept on well once the penny dropped to score comfortable on debut at Hereford last year, made the perfect return when a clear-cut winner at Carlisle last month and there could be plenty more to come now turning his attention to hurdles. Fergal O'Brien's five-year-old is backed to see off course-and-distance runner-up Dock Road, who gave a good account when chasing home the useful Ranch Hand. Red Lion Lad impressed in the pointing field at Ballyarthur and is also interesting on his Rules debut for David Pipe.

DEJA VUE weakened late on when second on her reappearance at Fontwell, but the forecast conditions here will be much more in the six-year-old's favour and could allow her stamina to win the day. Vienna Court was third in a Listed event on her chasing debut and could have plenty more to come over the larger obstacles, while the pick of Momella's hurdles form gives her a great chance in this.

Brinkley is worth monitoring in the betting now returning from an absence as he is having only his second start for this stable and has undergone wind surgery since he was last sighted. With the benefit of a recent run to his name, however, HOOLIGAN gets the verdict in the hope he can back up his reappearance success at Wetherby. Recent Fontwell winner Adicci is another to note.

COBOLOBO lost little in defeat when second to Crossley Tender over C&D last time and could feasibly build on that effort now sporting first-time cheekpieces. Le Boizelo is another for whom new headgear could elicit some improvement, while Butterwick Brook was fifth behind the selection latest but could potentially play a minor role. Innisfree Lad arrives in great order and also enters calculations.

Bogoss Du Perret knuckled down well to score by a nose over 2m6f at Stratford in October and is expected to give a good account off this 6lb higher mark. Over this shorter trip, however, INDIAN HARBOUR gets the verdict in the hope he can improve on his 2m4f Leicester fourth last month, having since been eased 1lb in the ratings. Monty Massini cuts back from 3m but could be putting in his best work in the closing stages.

AMZAC MAGIC just found a well-handicapped winner too good in a claiming contest at Lingfield last month and could go one better now under promising 5lb claimer Angus Cheleda. The eight-year-old kept on well on testing ground three weeks ago, and could relish this extra distance at a stamina-sapping track. Pour Une Raison struck over C&D at 50/1 last time out and could have more to offer given his unexposed profile, while Darksideoftarnside might bounce back after a disappointing effort at Uttoxeter recently.
