Dual bumper scorer CENTASIA made the perfect start to her hurdling career when scoring stylishly over 2m at Uttoxeter last month (fifth and sixth have notched up three wins between them since) and, with this longer trip not a concern, she can follow up under a penalty. Molly's A Diva, a smart bumper performer herself, hails from the stable who won this contest in 2010 and 2011 and she should leave behind a lacklustre performance on her first hurdles appearance at Warwick, while Woodland Walk and Blue Buttons add further spice to the race.

SHAMMICK BOY looks potentially a class above these rivals and is taken to defy the burden of top-weight. A 5lb rise for landing a Grade 3 contest at Chepstow 54 days ago looks fair punishment and he will prove extremely difficult to beat if reproducing that level of performance. From the opposite end of the weights, his biggest danger appears to be Mixologist, who was only a neck away from winning on his handicap debut at Fontwell recently and is due to go up 6lb in the near future. Citizenship would also have a chance if recapturing his best form which was shown in Ireland for Jessica Harrington.

Alan King saddled Torpichen to win the last running of this event in 2011 and he appears to have another cracking chance with LIDAR this time around. His latest chase performance, finishing runner-up in Listed company at Ascot, represents his best yet and his trainer spoke in glowing terms about him in a stable tour at the back end of October. Bury Parade rates the biggest threat following his gritty all-the-way Kempton success (form boosted with the third subsequently placed in a couple of Grade 3 races) ahead of Desert Cry, who is more than capable when on a going day.

Ballinahow Star drops in trip for her handicap debut after performing creditably in novice company over 3m. The seven-year-old needs respect off a workable mark, but preference is for STONE LIGHT. Venetia Williams's string might be a bit quiet at present but the five-year-old ran well over timber on her seasonal bow and ought to be competitive now upped in trip over the larger obstacles. Born To Benefit and Midnight Lira are competitively handicapped but both have doubts surrounding the trip so chasing debutante, Danvilla, might prove a more reliable choice for third spot.

The unexposed five-year-old pairing, Umberto D'olivate and Bincombe, both warrant respect on the back of their latest successes, with the last-named looking particularly capable of defying an 8lb rise. Kim Bailey fields two, with Special Account preferred of the pair given he did well to finish so close after making a shuddering effort last time. The vote, however, goes to HOLLOW BLUE SKY, who hasn't got many miles on the clock and drops to his optimum trip today. The Twiston-Davies team is also in much better form than it was when the six-year-old last ran, and he can take advantage of a fair mark.

PADRE TITO has shaped promisingly on both starts under Rules, bumping into useful horses at Wincanton and Ffos Las, and ought to open his account upped in trip today. Paul Nicholls holds a strong hand, with Tagrita preferred to V Neck. The former ran a race full of promise on her debut at Newbury and will appreciate this stiffer test, while the latter took a fierce hold at Plumpton last time and will have to settle better to get home over this distance. Ivy Gate begins life for Jonjo O'Neill but will be of more interest when tackling handicaps further down the line.

Kings Apollo boasts an upwardly mobile profile and ought to be competitive despite a 7lb rise for his latest success but, despite a 19-day break since his latest run, connections might be venturing to the well once too often here. Native Brian is unexposed and isn't handicapped out of this but BEDOUIN BAY shades the verdict. The six-year-old shaped promisingly behind two well handicapped rivals last time and is an interesting proposition now upped in trip. Cash Injection turned in one of his better efforts the last day but remains a 21-race maiden under Rules and isn't one to place full faith in.
