WAIHEKE created a favourable impression when building on her hurdles debut as she bolted up over C&D by nine lengths last month and looks more than capable of defying the 6lb penalty for winning that contest. Ebonys Encore caught the eye on her hurdles debut at Market Rasen and should improve for the experience, while others to consider include Drops Of Jupitor and Neetside.
EBONYS ENCORE shaped with plenty of encouragement when third on hurdling bow at Market Rasen in October, and with improvement on the cards, she’s taken to land the spoils. Waiheke is in good hands and likely to progress further, while Neetside makes some each-way appeal with this longer trip set to suit.

CASABLANCA MIX has improved with each start over fences and produced a quality performance when jumping boldly to win against her own sex at Huntingdon, having chased home leading JLT hope Willoughby Court at the same track the time before. The form of her win was given a boost by Theatre Territory going well at Cheltenham and, providing she handles the ground, can prove difficult to beat. Shaama Grise ran well behind a promising Dan Skelton type in Optimus Prime at Plumpton and is respected here, while The Nipper remains capable of better over fences.
CASABLANCA MIX has form figures of 3-2-1 since chasing, telling the story of her development, and she’s clearly still on an upward trajectory. Shaama Grise was a highly progressive hurdler last season, and will be winning races over fences sooner rather than later.

ROCKPOINT shaped well at Ascot in what looked to be an above-average maiden hurdle last month and should appreciate this softer ground and greater test of stamina. Night Of Sin was progressive last season for Nick Williams and looked to need the outing at the aforementioned venue a month ago, while Go Long beat Charbel back in November 2015 but has only been witnessed twice since and has clearly had his injury issues in recent times.
MAX DO BRAZIL is well handicapped on his French form, and having offered a bit more for this yard at the track a fortnight ago, he now rates an interesting contender with blinkers likely to sharpen him up. The race Mixchievous won at Chepstow on return rather fell apart, but he remains one to be positive about, with Rockpoint a potential improver.

Polydora probably sets the form standard following his Chepstow maiden victory in October but took a backwards step last time out at Ascot. Tom Lacey's charge should appreciate this step up in trip at a more stamina-sapping venue, but he might struggle to get the better of WHO'S MY JOCKEY, who is held in high regard by Philip Hobbs and remains with plenty of scope for improvement in this sphere. He ran well when second in a handicap last time and this return to novice company is very much in his favour. Ocean Cove could be good enough for third.
WHO'S MY JOCKEY sets the clear standard in his runner-up effort in handicap company at Towcester 3 weeks ago, and given he promises to stay this far, this looks to be a very good opening.
