FOUR DIRECTIONS showed a great attitude when landing the spoils over 6f here last time and he will take some stopping if arriving in the same mood. Rivetto had Carl's Birthday (third) and Stalagmite (fifth) behind when runner-up over this track and trip last month and he rates the biggest threat.
KNOCKOUT caught the eye when a staying-on third over 5 1/2f here last time and he holds rock solid claims now stepping back up in distance. Brunelli and Rock Star Charlie are also expected to go well.
WESTERN TRYST has impressively notched a hat-trick and he will be fancied to strike again while the iron is hot. Futurazo drops in both trip and grade and demands respect, while Caleb's A Survivor shouldn't be too far away either.
WEST OF EDEN couldn't reel in a runaway winner at Presque Isle in September, but fought well to earn the runner-up spot and can do better with his sights lowered. Boldlee is another contender that has been highly tried, and Splendid Charlie deserves a spot on the shortlist.
DI LISSA had a future winner in arrears when runner-up at this track in September and can go one better here. Msfreudmayweather had Bay's Nanny, Got Rythum and Formichelli Gold in arrears when taking second spot recently and looks the main danger.
TIN CUP TOO was a dominant winner at this venue recently and could prove tough to beat if arriving in a similar mood tonight. Winning Withhonour and Ten Items Or Less can fight it out for the minor honours.
This represents a marked drop in class for CRACKERJACK JONES, who ran a good second in stakes company last time. A repeat of that form will make him very tough to beat. Lady's Smart Alec can chase him home, ahead of Piscesbymoonlight.
UNREPENTING won a shade cosily over course and distance last time from the reopposing Fallfire (who has tasted victory since) and he can maintain his superiority over that rival to land a double. Doubly Distinct also enters calculations.
ARCHER HILL could hardly have been more impressive when bolting up here last time and, with the step up to this trip in his favour, he will take plenty of pegging back again. Tricked Out Tux won't be far away, while Calhoun Hill has solid place claims.
