Most of these are entitled to improve for the outing, so perhaps the match-fit BUTLERGROVE KING is worth a chance after he finished runner-up at Market Rasen on Monday. Mighty Leader should be sharper than most after finishing second at Uttoxeter in September and can make an impact on his first look at regulation fences. Rock Des Champs and Henry Oliver might improve for a stiffer test of stamina, and winning pointer Gold Man is another to note.

It is tough to look past MY NOSY ROSY after she comfortably opened her account over regulation fences at Chepstow. Her rider's claim negates a 7lb penalty and she should prove tough to beat if this doesn't come too soon. Ashcott Boy is entitled to strip fitter for his first run of the season at Plumpton and can pick up the pieces if the selection fails to fire. Cool Bob may do better now dropped in distance, and The Purchaser might improve in a first-time combination of visor and tongue-tie.

This race probably revolves around the fitness of WISHFULL DREAMING, who was good enough to win a Listed bumper at Cheltenham in January but must overcome a 280-day absence to make a successful start over hurdles. Basilic D'alene makes his first appearance since finishing behind a useful prospect at Taunton in February and is one to consider, along with Irish import Rushvale, who has shown potential in two outings for Ben Case. A change of scenery might do the trick for Mixboy, and any support behind the newcomer All In Favour should be noted.

A pretty unattractive betting heat, in which CHURCH FIELD is probably the most solid option if forgiven his recent mishap at Chepstow. He sports blinkers for the first time, while Tijori has them back on and is partnered by Richard Johnson after trailing the reopposing Fuzzy Logic last week. Bar A Mine encountered plenty of market support over fences at Perth recently and might rediscover some sparkle on this return to hurdles.

WESTERN DIVA was running a promising race before falling two out at this venue in August and can end a frustrating losing sequence here. While You Wait and Bigindie (third at Towcester on Wednesday) were second and fourth respectively at Uttoxeter and can give another good account. Gambol makes some appeal now dropped back to two miles, and it is tough to believe that we have seen the best from Ink Master.

WESTERN DIVA was set to divide subsequent winners until falling 2 out at this venue in August, and having been given time to recover, looks the way to go. What A Laugh returns to hurdling rather late in the day, but has to be feared on his point/hunter chase form, while the market will help assess Ink Master on his reappearance.
