TIGRE D'ARON is taken to make a winning debut over fences. He did manage to win a 2m1f maiden hurdle from five spins over the smaller obstacles, but he has always given the impression that chasing would be his game and Paul Nicholls will have left nothing to chance in terms of schooling sessions. Dolatulo has the advantage of having run four times in this sphere and he shouldn't be too far away, while Global Power is no forlorn hope switching from timber.

AWARD WINNER appeared to benefit from the application of a visor (worn again today) when scoring easily over 2m6f at Wincanton last Thursday and a 6lb penalty shouldn't be enough to stop him if he can reproduce that level of performance this afternoon. Oscar Baby looks to be her only realistic danger lining up off the same mark as when third at Fakenham last time, while course winner Jerry Lee could prove best of the remainder.

Venetian Lad warrants plenty of respect having won three of his last four visits to the racecourse (all at this venue), while Red Mile could take giant strides forward from his comeback fourth at Exeter 13 days ago. The vote, however, goes to CURRENT CLIMATE. The form of his 3m4f course success last time has took a boost with the fourth subsequently landing a hat-trick and an ability to stay further will stand him in good stead today with heavy ground forecast.

The form of Milarrow's novice hurdle success over 2m4f here in March has took a boost with the fourth winning since and he must enter calculations now returning, but EASTER DAY could prove difficult to beat in receipt of weight. The four-year-old son of Malinas displayed a fair level of ability in two bumper outings earlier in the year and team Ditcheat are sure to have him well schooled prior to this first run over timber. Worcester scorer Pearls Legend cannot be ruled out either.

NO NO BINGO appears to have been found a great opportunity to open his account. With just five NH starts under his belt, he remains relatively unexposed and a fifth place finish first time over fences at Market Rasen last month won't have been lost on him. With McCoy in the saddle for the first time this afternoon, he is fancied to do the business while Gee Dee Nen and course winner Terra Bleu could be left to fight out minor honours.

It could pay to side with FARBREAGA. There was plenty of positives to take from his sixth place finish first time out for Jamie Poulton over an extended 2m at Sandown in February and the combination of stepping up in trip and dropping in class today should see him go very close. Himayna returns to hurdles following a couple of non-completions over fences and commands respect, while Fifi L'amour wouldn't be without a chance on her return to action.

OLD DREAMS could take some stopping in the finale. She undoubtedly has the best form in the book, collecting bronze medals at Cheltenham and Plumpton during the spring, and connections are leaving nothing to chance on her return to action with McCoy booked to ride. Royal Present is fancied to be a lot better than showing on debut at Uttoxeter in March (where sent off favourite) and she can post a much improved effort here, while the betting market may prove the best guide to the chances of Kallina.
