Real Deal and Gaelic Miss were second and third in a similar race last time but were a long way back and have something to find here. Pacific Sunset won in similar last time but hasn't raced for four months and is likely to find one too good here in CLEVER COMIQUE, a winner over C&D in a $30,000 allowance race. She's been running consistently well for the past year and looks too good for her rivals today.

OKIE SKY was always second best when second in similar over C&D last month but that form could be good enough in this company. She's the fastest over this trip and obviously relished the return to dirt and a sprint distance last time. She should go one better today. Legal Dance was third on her debut and should improve but the pacy Avocet, third in tougher latest, looks the one for the exacta.

The well-bred Barely Union Scale has disappointed to date but might go better on his first turf run and stepped up to a route. Taper looked a useful sort when third on his debut but HEAVEN'S HOPE was even more impressive. He tackles turf for the first time and steps up in trip but looks a more than useful sort and should take this.

Capistrano, winner against easier company and third in similar last time, should be thereabouts but the speedy Modjaji, who has run well in tougher races, was second in similar latest and makes more appeal. U R LOVED has a 50 per cent strike rate and was a comfortable winner in a slightly easier race last time. Although she steps up in class here, she's open to further improvement after just four starts, and should take all the beating.

Spur Creek and Hello My Friend won slightly easier races last time out and the former has set the fastest dirt time amongst these. They are sure to be in the shake-up but this looks set to go to ANASHAM, well beaten over 6f last time but just pipped in a $15k handicap over this trip before that. She's the quickest over this trip and should have too much class today.

Maneke has shown plenty of promise in his two runs and could go well on his turf debut. R Clear Victory, the fastest of these on turf, was third in similar last time but a fair way back and preference is for JAMES READY MAGIC, who was only a length back in second on his turf debut over an extended mile last time. He obviously likes the surface and the slight drop back in trip should suit him.

Thunder Boot, now with high-scoring trainer Wayne Catalano, is the fastest over this trip and was third in similar last time. He should be in the shake-up, as should Banker Boy, third in a tougher race last time. However, it's hard to see them getting the better of COURT OF MAXIMUS, a C&D winner in a similar grade last time and in the sort of form that makes him difficult to oppose here.

Everything seems to point to TERWILLIGERS CREEK taking this. He has plenty of pace and hails from a top barn. A close third in a tougher race over this trip last time, his inside draw should give him the edge today. Onmygrounds and Madam's Playboy were third in similar contests latest and should be thereabouts but Bay Wolf, who broke his duck over C&D last time could be the one for the exacta.

Sara Sidle showed plenty of pace when finishing third in similar on her debut run and must be included in calculations. Meadow Skippin ran in a Grade 3 contest last time and was far from disgraced. She should be thereabouts but might find one too good in CAUSE SHE'S CRAFTY, the quickest over this trip and beaten just a neck in similar last time.
