American Craftsman is turned out under a penalty after scoring over this trip at Beverley last month and should be thereabouts, though of more interest is BRIMHAM ROCKS, who struck over this trip on his seasonal bow at Wolverhampton and was far from disgraced when sixth in a higher grade when last sighted at York. The booking of Silvestre De Sousa is a further positive for Ralph Beckett's representative. Recent Catterick third Zamadance looks best of the rest.
BRIMHAM ROCKS shaped much better than the distance beaten suggests at York last month, not helped by being badly hampered 3 out. His profile is a progressive one and he can confirm the promise of his previous Wolverhampton success. Nordic Combined should have no problem under these conditions and along with Beverley scorer American Craftsman, heads up the dangers.

Signore Piccolo didn't convince with his attitude in the closing stages at Leicester last time out and although he has his conditions once more, he can be taken on at likely short enough odds. Rantan has a good draw and is interesting with Silvestre De Sousa booked, though preference is for ART COLLECTION and the in-form Ruth Carr, who is enjoying the best season of her career so far. The four-year-old appreciated a return to six furlongs at Doncaster last time and could be handicapped to strike.
