This should go the way of DUBAI CREST. The gelding did nothing wrong on his hurdling debut when a good fifth over 2m 1f at Doncaster and has very little to find on that effort to land this. Masterful Act was a decent seventh, also at Doncaster, on his debut but shaped as if he needs further while all-weather winner, Cast Of Stars, could go well first time over timber.
The novice hurdle contested by Dubai Crest and Masterful Act looks the key piece of form here, the former taken to confirm the placings, though both are open to improvement. Valid Reason wasn't far behind Dubai Crest on the Flat and is another to consider now hurdling.

Barring accidents, this should go the way of BARDOLET. He carries a 7lb penalty here for his Catterick success but won with plenty in hand that day looks open to further improvement. Absolute Shambles looks out of sorts but is well weighted on his winning form and may benefit from the fitting of a first-time visor. King Of Leon failed to finish at Wincanton last time but may like this longer trip.

EMMASLEGEND has taken her time to get the hang of things but broke her duck in style at Wincanton this month. She carries a 7lb penalty now but won with plenty in hand and is a confident choice to follow up. Borderhopper looks to be going the right way and could be the one for the forecast while Sambelucky won at Catterick in December but might have too much weight now.
Emmaslegend looked a totally different proposition for the fitting of a tongue strap last week and has bright prospects of defying her penalty, probably at the chief expense of Sambelucky. Borderhopper could also get competitive if coping with the quicker conditions.

Point-to-point winner Solaise landed an all-weather 'bumper' at Lingfield on his debut under Rules and has sound claims while the newcomer Tiradia looks a well-bred sort who could go well first time out. Preference is for CUE TO CUE, third on turf at Southwell last time on her second start. It marked a big improvement on her first effort and she hasn't too much more to find to land this.
Cue To Cue was surrounded by 4 next-time-out winners at Southwell in January and should easily take care of the penalised Solaise. Keyaza looks the part on paper and could prove the pick of the newcomers.
