In what looks a tricky starts to preceedings, it could pay to side with CLASSIC BLUE. She produced a gallant effort in defeat when runner-up over 1m2f at Great Leighs recently and is fancied to go one better off only a slightly higher mark. Joe Jo Star produced a much improved effort when third at this venue last time and rates the biggest threat, along with Lights Of Vegas.

The Ed Dunlop-trained IZZIBIZZI was far from disgraced when third over 7f at Lingfield latest and, with that first run for twelve months under her belt, she gets the vote to lose her maiden tag. Unbiased was narrowly touched off at Wolverhampton last time and seems sure to be on the premises once again, while Dark Camellia is another that cannot be ruled out with any confidence.

ITAINTEASYBEINGME stepped up on his three previous starts when runner-up over 5f at Folkestone latest and a repeat performance should see him get off the mark. Bold Ring stayed on tenaciously when fifth over an extended 5f at Wolverhampton last time and is sure to benefit from this step up in trip, while Kayceebee could be another worth noting on his handicap debut.

BARCODE stayed on in determined fashion to land the spoils over an extended 5f at Bath last time and, with this step up in trip not a concern, she could take some stopping in her bid to complete the double. Chicken Momo has shown enough promise in previous starts to suggest that he can play a leading role here, while Artesium is another worthy of consideration.

Mick Quinlan's FAJITA has shown plenty of promise in three outings to date and looks like the one that they all have to beat in his first start in claiming company. Shadow Bay is much better than his recent ninth at Newmarket (July) suggests and is expected to bounce back to form in this lesser grade, while the first-time blinkered, Courageous Nature, is another that warrants respect.

DESERT FALLS has won his last two starts, both at Great Leighs, and is taken to continue his winning ways in this tougher contest. Summers Target has yet to finish out of the frame in three appearances and Bajan Tryst remains open to further improvement and is another interesting player. Missile Dodger was outclassed in Group 3 company latest but has every chance here.

Jane Chapple-Hyam's charge, LIZARD ISLAND, failed to land a telling blow in a Listed event at Newbury recently, but he has much less on his plate here and can regain the winning thread. Fathsta seems sure to go close once again, while past C&D winner, King's Wonder is another in with a shout.

MIXING showed a likeable attitude when striking gold over this C&D last time and, although a 4lb rise in the weights is sure to make life tougher, he gets the vote to follow up. Little Richard could mount a bold bid on his return from a lay-off, while Ommadawn is another that merits a place on the short-list.
