KHABIB was third on his handicap debut at Yarmouth and needs to raise his game in order to figure, though he's been dropped 1lb since and is also entitled to improve for the fitting of first-time cheekpieces. Toptime finished third over 5f at Newbury last time and could benefit from this step up in trip, while there may also be better to comer from recent Wolverhampton scorer Relative Choice.

SHOW YOURSELF should be all the wiser for the experience gained when third over this trip at Yarmouth last month and is expected to take a forward step. Spirit Of The Bay finished fourth in the mud on debut at Goodwood and could take closer order with that run behind her, while any money for newcomers Carnation and Electric would also be worth heeding.

WIN O'CLOCK bolted up by nine lengths over 1m2f at Sandown last time and rates the one to beat now turned out under a 6lb penalty. Omnivega was denied a four-timer at Ascot last time but has enjoyed a terrific year and may well bounce back. It would come as no surprise to see Good Birthday cash in on his declining mark either, as he's now slipped 8lb lower than when third in the Cambridgeshire last season.

Itkaann was impressive in victory at Salisbury last month on handicap debut after 248 days off the track and might not be badly treated off just 7lb higher. Impatient bounced back from a disappointing effort at York when second here earlier this month and won't mind going back up in trip, but recent Lingfield scorer RAAED appeals most. That was a weak event and he was entitled to win, but he still dismantled the opposition and an opening handicap mark of 89 may underestimate his ability.

ANDONNO cost 30,000gns as a yearling and might be able to make his debut a winning one for Mark Johnston. The Dansili colt is a half-brother to four winners, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the two-year-old knew his job coming from this yard. King Tiger is a half-brother to three winners and wasn't disgraced when fifth on debut at Lingfield last month over 7f, while Sammy Sunshine took a step forward from her debut when fifth at Goodwood last time out.

MISHAL STAR outran 40-1 odds on debut when fourth at Newbury last month and the winner of that contest has since finished second in a Group 3. Tom Ward's Mehmas filly really caught the eye on that occasion, staying on relentlessly in the closing stages, and she can take this before moving onto better things over further. James Ferguson has made a good start to his training career and Across The Nile is a half-sister to an all-weather winner, while fellow newcomer The First Hurrah is also noted.

Most of these arrive here in questionable form but not COOL STRUTTER, who won at Windsor two starts ago and he was not beaten far when last seen at Lingfield. Wild Flower made the frame at Wolverhampton last time and she may improve for the first-time application of a tongue-tie. Others to note are Badger Berry, Eastern Star and Urban Highway.

In an open race the marginal preference is for WAR EMPRESS, who has been running consistently well in defeat of late. When last seen Julia Feilden's filly only found one too good at Southwell in February and she could make the winning return to action this afternoon. Sea Of Mystery made the frame over 1m4f here last month and he could make the frame once again, while Tin Fandango is the pick of the remainder.
