JONNYSIMPSON lost little in defeat when second over this trip on turf at Bath last time out and should give another good account of herself off an unchanged mark. Mossketeer is one who could feasibly take a sudden step forward now making his handicap debut and Avenging Red may well improve for the fitting of first-time blinkers. However, the main danger to the selection may be Zapateado, who was one place behind her at Bath last time.

Lady Joanna Vassa is expected to be popular as she's turned out under a penalty for her track and trip victory under this rider five days ago. However, marginal preference is for SWENDAB, who was thwarted by just a nose over this trip at Chelmsford last time out and could be tough to reel in if given another enterprising ride by David Egan. Whiteley was fourth over 6f here latest and could also take a hand now cutting back in trip.

Of those with previous experience to their name, FILLE DE REVE is most appealing and sets the form standard on her placed efforts over this trip here on debut and then at Salisbury last month. Light Relief should be all the wiser for the experienced gained when finishing midfield in a HQ maiden first time out and is nominated as the main danger ahead of two Newmarket newcomers, Private View and Queen Maureen.

Your Choice found Group 3 company too hot to handle at Goodwood but this looks a more suitable assignment and she should go close if running to her official rating of 82. Admired seems to be slowly getting the hang of things and is another capable of finishing in the minor money. For win purposes, however, it might be worth taking a chance on John Gosden's BEAUTIFUL ARTIST, a 110,000gns juvenile who is expected to know her job on debut. Fellow newcomer Watheeqa is also worth a market check.

Last Voyage struck on debut over 5f at Windsor before being held over this trip at Sandown. He's penalised here and fitted with a first-time hood as he bids to overcome a wide draw, so perhaps it might be worth siding with ARCHIE MCKELLAR, who has fared better on the draw front and ran to a fair level of form when third over this trip in an Ascot maiden last time. Any money for Owen Burrows' newcomer, Haader, would be interesting, while U S S Missouri is entitled to build on a solid debut fourth here and could also figure.

Harba failed to settle when stepped up to a mile at Chelmsford City last time and will appreciate the return to 7f. While she's expected to show up well at the head of affairs, narrow preference is instead for the progressive YELLOWHAMMER, who is relatively fresh after winning on her only start of the season at Newmarket off 3lb lower in July. Parlance has place claims on the back of her near miss at HQ after getting worked up in the preliminaries.

STANLEY suffered an agonising defeat when worn down in the final strides over track and trip latest (with Soghan back in fourth) and should be thereabouts at the finish, likewise recent Goodwood third Fearsome, a consistent performer who is stepping up from 1m2f. War At Sea has spurned several decent winning opportunities already and is exposed, though he's no forlorn hope for a place in a maiden of this standard.

Hughie Morrison representative CHOUGH struck at the 14th time of asking when going in over 7f here last time and the way he powered clear to win with over three lengths in hand at the line suggested the return to this longer trip would suit. Born To Please landed minor money in the mud over this distance at Ffos Las last time out and can fight it out with the consistent Just Fab for the minor money.
