Testing conditions should prove no barrier to TANDEM, who has experienced heavy ground on both starts to date. The Dansili gelding came home unchallenged by 11 lengths when breaking his maiden at Galway and looks a very promising sort for the Juddmonte operation to go to war with. Circle got off the mark at Leopardstown in mid-August and followed up with a solid Tipperary run. He rates the main threat to the Weld inmate, whilst Coin Of Courage completes the shortlist despite being totally unproven on forecast conditions.

No ground concerns for any of the octet and STOCKTONS WING is the choice in an open contest. The Charles O'Brien gelding has thrived since midsummer and his ability to quicken up in the latter stages of his races on testing ground has proved invaluable. He is up another 8lb for his latest Sligo success but that turn of foot may defy the handicapper once again. Stuccodor looks open to further improvement but the tough and reliable Kedleston appeals as a livelier threat. Hot Bed is interesting but returns from a lengthy break and demands a market check.

COUNT OF LIMONADE was beaten just over eight lengths last time when third in the Group 3 Anglesey Stakes over a trip that appeared patently too short. He moves up to over a mile for the first time now and previous efforts indicate this trip should be well within his compass, with the Duke Of Marmalade colt taken to concede 3lb to his two main opponents. Mister Aviation has been the subject of strong support on all three starts and looks an obvious danger, whilst Cest Notre Gris was always in control at Galway last time and looks on the upgrade.

Drive Time, unbeaten on the level, comes here on the back of an early-race fall when strongly fancied in the Galway Hurdle. He looks sure to go well but HARRISON'S CAVE will find this a welcome relief from the ultra-competitive handicaps he's been contesting throughout the season. He stayed this trip when fifth in the Chester Cup and has a heavy ground win to his name at the Curragh last September. Prince Erik is consistent and reliable whilst Great Oak created a pleasing impression when easily accounting for Dare To Doubt on her Flat debut.

Jessie Jane is the difficult one to weigh up here having landed a Dundalk maiden on her reappearance and now entering handicap company for the first time. Significant market support would make her a prime contender but APACHE DRUMS is a solid and consistent handicapper for Charles O'Brien and seems sure to post another solid account with trip and ground to suit. Seventh Sign has obvious claims in his search for a three-timer but made pretty heavy work of things last time at Ballinrobe and may not represent too much in the way of value.

A very well-contested handicap featuring a host of in-form sorts in which Rattan makes plenty of appeal with Declan Lavery claiming a valuable 7lb. However, DOMINATION is narrowly preferred as he appears to have been laid out for this with typical Charles Byrnes precision. After a solid second in a competitive Galway handicap, he was given a nice spin on the level eight days ago when a close Wexford second on soft ground. Open to improvement over timber, he gets the vote. Citizenship is a threat at his best whilst the unexposed Rodriguez could contend from a temptingly low mark.

MAGIC SPEAR quickened up nicely to put his bumper to bed here last July when the front pair were well clear of their rivals. He was well supported that day and makes appeal in an ordinary maiden hurdle. Sir Harry Cash has plenty of experience over timber and seems sure to find his way into the winner's circle sooner or later as he continues to perform with great consistency. Samantha Jones went well at Tramore last time and enters calculations on that effort, whilst Truckin All Night is respected on the back of a recent Cork bumper success.

Ballylibert has shown steady if unspectacular improvement since moving into open handicap company this season and recent efforts at Tramore and Cork suggest he has a decent chance here in a very open contest. Davy Russell is obviously a good booking but the combination may struggle to concede 10lb to the progressive DRUMLISTER, winner of two of his last three starts over fences and remaining open to considerable progress off his current mark back over hurdles (rated 23lb lower than over fences). Fitzgutentyte looks on the upgrade and can get involved along with recent winners Littletown Lass and Mountain Lough.
