Youarewonder is respected off top weight but is probably not open to the same levels of improvement as less exposed rivals. Similar comments are attributable to the consistent Joyce Compton but CANBERRA CLIFFS does look on a decent mark for this nursery debut after performances at both Galway and Tipperary which suggested that a step-up to this trip would prove beneficial. Lady Volante could also play a prominent role but Sweetasever looks the main threat after staying on strongly to score at Down Royal last time over 7f in a manner indicating that she too will appreciate the additional yardage.

Decent claims can be afforded to the majority in a trappy contest but ASPEN MOUNTAIN has gone desperately close the last twice at Killarney and the Curragh and that latest performance at Irish HQ was a fine handicap effort. Trip and ground are fine and he can go one better. Tony The Gent has come home in the front two on all starts and is hard to desert on the back of a cosy enough Galway success last time. Rayisa continues to perform with great credit without winning but should certainly be in the mix once again despite top weight.

Lorendano and Sevilla need to improve on efforts to date as does Shalamanka, although the Halford filly arguably has greater room for improvement and it's too early to give up on her yet. Shes An art is improving with racing and is an each-way option but ZAMIRA did well to finish second on her Dundalk debut in a pretty rough race and is taken to make sufficient progress to oblige. Hibiscus is a major danger for Ballydoyle after a perfectly satisfactory debut at Gowran and it's accepted wisdom that the O'Brien horses regularly improve considerably for their debut run.

PRICKLY ran better than his finishing position suggests in a Galway hurdle last time and has every chance if repeating the level of his Leopardstown second to Tara Dylan on his penultimate start. He remains well treated off a mark of 69 and enjoys the forecast ground. Moone Dancer and Darkyila are unexposed sorts of interest, especially the latter who is surely much better than her latest effort when out the back at Galway. Three Star General is steadily coming to the boil and looks nicely enough treated on this handicap bow, whilst Sea's Aria and Fly Round The Bend, both recent winners, cannot be discounted either in a wide-open affair.

Not the most appealing contest but COURTIN BB looks feasibly treated and was in fair form until running a shocker at Cork last time. He does need forgiving that performance and it's interesting that the assessor has not downgraded him for the run. Hopefully, he can recapture his former level and rates a tentative selection. Carraigin Aonair could be one to watch on this handicap debut as she revealed fair maiden form on the level, whilst See Me Here has improved on a race-by-race basis this season and looks the logical each-way shout. The in-form Graney Town completes the shortlist.

A decent field for a decent purse with many in-form contenders. Don Padeja is an English raider of note but he does have to concede over a stone to MIGHTY CONCORDE and this might just be the day that the highly consistent if equally frustrating gelding finally garners a first success over timber. He ran yet another good race when third at the Galway Festival and can oblige here off a 2lb higher mark. Supreme Vinnie's consistency seems sure to see him involved along with recent winners Bitview Colin, Undefined Beauty and Runyon Rattler who are preferred in that order.

ST STEPHENS GREEN has a clear-cut opportunity to land a first success over timber after an excellent runner-up effort at the Galway Festival in a decent handicap hurdle behind Heartbreak City. This rates a straightforward assignment on the form book and he is hard to oppose. Chance It shaped well last time at Galway and looks the main danger and could well offer an each-way option, whilst a market check is advisable on Blue Owen who returns after an absence of over 400 days.
