Kerisa weakened in the closing stages when third over 1m at Navan earlier in the month and looks well worth a try over this shorter trip. John Oxx's charge is afforded respect, although the form standard looks to be set by REHN'S NEST. The selection bumped into the progressive Seolan when runner-up in a Listed contest at the Curragh (1m) latest but a reproduction of that effort - which saw his rating rise to 100 - would probably suffice over this shorter trip. Rasmeyaa and Love And Cherish appeal most of the remainder.

Strictly speaking, BIG BREAK needs to find improvement on the book as it was only a maiden contest she landed over track and trip last month. However, she beat her opposition in style that day and given she's a full-sister to the high-class Famous Name, she's fully expected to make up into a Pattern performer herself while in the care of Dermot Weld. Canary Row and Dont Bother Me need to improve upon recent Group 3 efforts to figure, so a greater danger may be Magician, an easy winner of a 1m Curragh maiden earlier in the month.

HARMONIC NOTE didn't enjoy the best of runs when third on her handicap debut at Navan last time but this shorter trip, coupled with the application of first-time blinkers, is expected to elicit some improvement and the Ger Lyons-trained top-weight thus gets the vote in a typically trappy nursery. Versilia Gal knows how to get her head in front which has to be considered a positive against a field comprised mainly of maidens, although both of her victories came over 6f. The pick of the handicap debutants could be Rose Ransom, who is blinkered for the first time and runs off a workable mark.

ZAND bumped into a more experienced rival when second on debut at the Curragh (1m) but the experience gained is unlikely to have been lost on John Oxx's colt, who took a while to warm to his task but ran on nicely in the closing stages once the penny had dropped. Ballydoyle newcomer Piet Mondrian swerved an engagement at Navan recently but would be interesting if the money was down. Fellow debutant Ghaamer, who is out of a Listed-placed 1m winner, is another for the shortlist.

It is hard to be confident about the chances of any of these but something has to win so PRECIOUS STONE gets the tentative vote. Victorious on her last start over this trip at Dundalk, and also boasting placed form on soft ground previously, David Wachman's filly races off a 2lb higher mark on turf today and appears to remain feasibly treated. Bitsanbobs finished a one-paced second over 7f at the Curragh last time and looks a danger over this longer trip. Cairdiuil and Emotional Dream are just two others to consider in an open-looking event.

FAMOUS NAME can count the 2008 and 2010 renewals of this race amongst his remarkable 20 career successes. After romping to victory over 1m in a Curragh Group 3 latest his wellbeing is assured and he's taken to reward his army of supporters and make it three wins on the bounce. Stablemate Caponata, a short-head second in a Curragh Group 2 on her penultimate outing, looks the main danger if bouncing back from a flat run at Gowran, when she was clearly not herself. Chrysanthemum, a Listed winner over 1m at Cork last time, stays this longer trip equally as well and is another for the shortlist.

TRUTHWILLSETUFREE has improved with every run this year and was far from disgraced on her handicap debut at Listowel last month, finishing second over 1m1f, a trip which looks plenty on the sharp side for her. Now stepping up to 1m4f for the first time and in receipt of crucial weight-for-age, Dermot Weld's Dalakhani filly is expected to take all of the beating. Rated 90, Torphichen is potentially on a fair Flat mark since he's now 59lb higher over fences after a recent victory at Listowel. Along with recent Curragh distance scorer King Of Aran, he can give the selection something think about.
