ALANZA made a most pleasing introduction when scoring on debut over this trip at Listowel last term and it would appear that she has wintered well judging by the two Group 3 entries she holds next month. John Oxx's filly needs to prove her effectiveness on faster ground but given her sire Dubai Destination was a Group 1 winner on good to firm ground, it is not expected to hinder. Moonlit Garden is entitled to strip fitter for her reappearance run at Naas but of more interest is Marvada, who has progressed nicely this year and appears versatile with regards to trip.

JEMIMA'S PEARL sets the form standard based on her Curragh third over 6f earlier in the month and, having put in her best work in the closing stages that day, gets the verdict now running stepped up to 7f. Devotion has the benefit of previous racecourse experience under her belt but needs to improve plenty upon previous efforts if she is to break her maiden. Of more interest is Jim Bolger's newcomer, Tiffilia, who would be interesting if subject to market support for a powerful yard that have an excellent strike rate in two-year-old maidens this term.

A very competitive juvenile contest in prospect and only the tentative vote goes to WHIP RULE. Jim Bolger's colt beat a useful yardstick in Tough As Nails on debut at the Curragh and although failed to follow up when conceding weight in a 6f sprint at Naas thereafter, he stayed on well in the closing stages to suggest this longer trip will suit. Tenth Star had Roman General behind when both finished in the minor money over C&D earlier in the month and can give the selection most to think about. Snowflake Dancer looks ready for this step up in trip and is another expected to go close.

Great Realief failed to stay 1m on his last visit here and will appreciate the drop back to this shorter trip but others look better treated and the vote goes to FOOTPRINT. The selection showed up well on his seasonal bow at Dundalk in April and remains on a fair turf mark now switching surface. Murura and Copper Dock have been holding their form really well over sprint distances and may be able to unlock a little bit of further improvement now stepping back up in trip. Silly Dancer has done all of his winning over further but has place claims while currently in good heart.

Joe Eile finishing a staying on third over 7f at Naas when last sighted and looks worth a try at this longer trip but preference is for NOIMEAD DRAIOCHTA who looks on an upward curve and demonstrated her effectiveness over this trip when scoring at Navan last time. Jim Bolger's filly is 8lb higher in the weights tonight but remains open to further improvement at the trip and is taken to follow up. Newlands Princess was fourth behind the selection on her last start but, at the revised weights, could close the gap and finish amongst the minor money.

Galileo filly REACH THE STARS scored on her handicap debut at Limerick last time and could defy a 6lb higher mark now granted this extra furlong. Harrison's Cave, by the same sire, was restricted to 7f and 1m last time and is expected to improve now stepped up to a trip more in line with his breeding. Aidan O'Brien's colt is making his seasonal bow tonight but, if fully wound up to go, looks capable of going close. Spring Hawk continues to hold her form well but looks vulnerable at the weights and of more interest is Mr Pianist, who returns from a three-month break but would be dangerous if fending off the attention of fellow front runner Gargano.

STEPS TO FREEDOM has shown smart form on the NH scene, landing a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in April, and warrants the utmost respect now starting his career on the Flat. Johnny McGeeney was second over C&D earlier in the month on his first run on the level and wouldn't need to improve much upon that effort to take a hand in the finish. Clarach is more exposed than the aforementioned pair over hurdles and is rated lower in that sphere. However, she is effective on fast ground and is thus another to consider on her Flat debut.
