CLARA SORRENTO appears to be going the right way and is expected to build on his 2m second at Down Royal last time out now granted this stiffer test. Act In Time has turned in improved performances over 2m at Punchestown and Naas the last twice and promises to be suited by this longer distance. The main danger, however, may be Willie Mullins representative Kemboy, who makes his NH bow after going close in a Flat race in France last year.

Cadmium beat only one rival home in two bumper outings in France in 2015 but it will be interesting to see if the market vibes are positive for Willie Mullins' four-year-old, given his 577-day absence, now he debuts over timber. With the benefit of a recent run to his name, however, preference is instead for CALL THE TAXIE, who ran well for a long way when fourth in a 2m6f maiden hurdle at Punchestown and could benefit from this drop back in trip. Knockraha Boss has place claims if building on his chase fourth at Naas.

Gordon Elliott representative CADEAU DU BRESIL should be all the wiser for the experience gained on his hurdles bow at Cork last month and is narrowly preferred to Bosco Di Alco, who landed a 2m bumper at Down Royal in May and didn't seem to stay the trip when third over 2m6f on the hurdles track at the same venue last time out. Point-to-point winner Agent Boru has been knocking on the door lately and wouldn't be winning out of turn either.

There was plenty to like about MICK THE BOYO's Cork victory a fortnight ago and a 7lb rise for that success doesn't look too harsh. Johnny Burke takes over for the first time and the son of Flemensfirth should appreciate the give that remains in the ground. Runyon Rattler didn't enjoy a trip to Cheltenham last month but has to be respected on the bulk of his Irish form, while Hurricane Darwin remains unexposed and has to be respected back hurdling on his handicap debut.

Aretesone failed to land a telling blow on his handicap debut at Navan last month and might want a return to further than this, while Billy De Kid has shown improvement in his last two starts at Wexford and Fairyhouse. Canny Tom would be interesting if turned out again (engaged at Thurles on Thursday) but a chance is taken on ACCORDION LEGACY, who represents a trainer with one winner from just three runners here. The nine-year-old remains unexposed despite his age and ran an excellent race in third behind two potentially classy novices just 16 days ago.

REBEL CRY had been in solid enough form when last seen over the summer and connections look to be taking advantage of a lower mark over timber. The son of Gamut also improved over fences when stepped up to this distance so there is everything right for him to do the same here. For Sinead looked a non-stayer when tackling 3m at Wexford last week so the drop back will benefit her, while Wee Small Hours has claims on her second at Fairyhouse.

COOLBANE WEST has improved plenty since returning to handicap company with two successes at Gowran Park and Cork over 2m4f and can only improve further stepping up to 3m for the first time. Irish Bulletin bounced back to form with a win over fences last time at Fairyhouse and has to be considered back over timber with Conor Brassil's 7lb claim a positive, while Tawseef, Wolfslair, and Coolmill all merit consideration.

MONASTERY showed marked improvement at Galway when runner-up behind the decent Jelan, who has since gone on to finish fourth in a strong Listed event at Navan, and this looks the perfect opportunity for her to get off the mark with Lisa O'Neill taking a valuable 7lb off. Sense Of Urgency is open to improvement from her first start where she was second to Good Thyne Tara at Cork, while Just Janice and Smaoineamh Alainn look best of the remainder.
