This looks a two horse race with RAY'S LEGACY and Seas Courage well clear of the rest on form. The preference goes to the former because he is significantly less exposed compared to his main rival. The Edge Of Wind can come home in third place.
The down in grade I AM THE KING has been going well enough of late to suggest that he will be very hard to beat in this event. Clyde Park appeals as the next best, closely followed by Fine.
DAGGERS DUEL ran really well on his debut in a stakes event and he followed that up with a narrow win on his next start. He is clearly open to plenty of progression and his main rival rival, Seeking A Mile, finds winning difficult. Lukeyontheloose is the best of the rest.
The consistent Evening Concerto is bound to be a popular selection but he has found winning difficult of late and he may bump into one too good once again. That could well be DANGER INTENTION, who is not the most reliable sort but he has more than enough ability to take a race of this nature. Those looking for an each-way alternative should consider Coupee.
DYVED made a bright start to his racing career when fourth over 5 1/2f at Indiana and, entitled to have improved for a subsequent gelding operation, he rates the one to beat. His main dangers look to be My Friend David and the dropped-in-class Castlefinn.
TO THE TOP N BACK showed a likeable attitude when winning over the extended 1m here last time and he could take some stopping if arriving in the same mood. Pearl Of Wisdom has put a number of solid efforts together recently and rates the biggest threat, ahead of Whitewood Indian.
SPANISH LEATHER displayed marked improvement when beaten just two lengths into second in a similar claimer here recently and a repeat performance may well suffice. Colonial Banner and Awarding are also noted.
JESSETHEMARINE, a four-time career winner, makes plenty of appeal dropping in class slightly for this claimer and should have the beating of these rivals if bringing his A-game to the table. Zeke Mccool and Playing With Fire are also given a chance.
