ADMIRAL HAWKE needs to leave behind a moderate 2m5f run when pulling up in a Uttoxeter maiden last time but drops into selling company and may improve for the return to this shorter distance. Aneedh commands respect on these terms and makes some appeal on his efforts in novice company earlier in the year. The pick of the remainder may be Oscars Way, who is fitted with first-time blinkers in an attempt to leave behind a lacklustre Worcester run latest.

LUCKY CODY returned a 14-length winner over track and trip earlier in the month (Battledancer well beaten in fifth) and with AP McCoy maintaining his association in the saddle, another big run looks to be on the cards. The main danger appears to be recent 2m4f Bangor scorer Alphabetical Order, who is rated only 1lb lower than the selection on official figures, as Dashing Over lacks hurdling experience and, in fact, debuts over timber this evening.

Lucky Cody was a wide-margin winner here earlier this month and this looks a good opportunity to follow up. Alphabetical Order had a simple task at Bangor when scoring for the second time in this sphere and may have to make do with the runner-up spot this time round.

AINSI FIDELES is unlikely to be much of a price but he sets the standard on his 23-length demolition job over C&D two runs back and his subsequent seven-length romp in a small-field handicap at Perth last time. The fitting of blinkers has assisted David Pipe's four-year-old, who bids to keep his unbeaten chase record in tact. Cartmel scorer Mr Satco drops back from 2m6f but looks to be the main danger ahead of Minella Forfitness, who merits a market check on his return from a 210-day absence.

A select but intriguing handicap in which a tentative vote is for THE NEPHEW. Jonjo O'Neill's charge didn't show his best form in the Summer Plate here last month, but he's open to improvement trying 3m1f for the first time and it could be significant that AP McCoy takes over in the plate. Pantxoa finished seventh in the aforementioned Listed handicap here latest and sets the standard at the summit of the weights, while Western King can build on his Bangor success 15 days ago.

Easy to pick holes in the whole field. The move to Peter Bowen may trigger an upsurge in fortunes for Velator, but the strong-travelling Pantxoa looks the most interesting after shaping as though a return to form was on the cards in a much more competitive heat at this venue in July.

Master Of The Hall, winner of a Listed chase at Aintree when trained by Nicky Henderson, has thrived at this venue since joining Micky Hammond's stable and he won by 24 lengths over C&D earlier this month. MAISON DE VILLE is potentially ahead of his mark now pitched into the handicap ranks for the first time as he won by 11 lengths under a penalty in novice company at Sedgefield latest.
