Loriko is a logical option bidding to complete a hat-trick. However, he isn't entirely straightforward and might be worth taking on as he resumes under a double penalty on his first run since undergoing wind surgery. NOBOTHERATALL looks worth chancing based on his progressive profile and may find this flatter course plays to his strengths as a likely pace angle. The Irish raider, Master Haku, had an excuse last time and the betting can guide here.

After bloodless successes at Warwick and Stratford, LOUIS VERON is on a roll and appears ready for a step up in class. This is by far his toughest assignment to date. However, the Dan Skelton-trained five-year-old debuts in a handicap off a potentially lenient mark and is the ready pick of his yard's two entrants. The in-form Newtown Rambler, who is back over hurdles for his bid to complete a four-timer, is a strong-travelling sort that can make this a good test. Squeezebox and Moon Chime are fellow last-time-out winners with solid credentials.

Harry Cobden rode the last three winners of this race and his timing in the saddle will be a big asset as he attempts to expand the record to four aboard SOUL ICON. It's worth remembering Cobden's mount was a Grade 2 winner the last time he was successful and, having filled the runner-up berth in this in 2024, his credentials are solid. Kingston Narcissus is likely to be popular by virtue of representing the champion trainer and his form stacks up well. Mahons Glory and Breizh River are others for the shortlist.

James Owen trained last year's winner and NO MORE BOLERO makes plenty of appeal. A winner on the Flat in April, he returned the determined winner back over timber at Worcester last month and the second has advertised the strength of that form since. Hello Sweety arrives in fine fettle having won at Fakenham prior to her recent runner-up effort over C&D, while Sun Art is another of interest.

MOST WANTED attempted to make all at Uttoxeter last time but ran out of steam in the closing stages and faded into third. The winner at Fakenham on his chasing debut in May, David Bridgewater's charge remains unexposed over fences and is likely to prove competitive once again. Catchim drops in distance with a shout on last month's second at Southwell, while Prospect House is not badly treated if rediscovering his best.

SIR CARNEGIE has a potent combination of stamina and the will to win, and he looks to have a solid chance of landing a hat-trick after wins at Perth in May and Hexham last month. Upped 3lb for his last success, the six-year-old could have one more win for Mickey Bowen. Special John was mugged on the line at Fontwell but could be better suited by this track, leaving Yes Day to follow them home.

Belvedere Blast likes it here with four wins, although his third last month at Uttoxeter saw him staying on strongly over three miles, suggesting he may find this trip too short these days. Nottodaybobo is looking for a hat-trick but is upped in class which might find him out off his new mark, so VIVID PINK gets the nod. Alan King's lightly-raced seven-year-old won easily over C&D in June and although upped 9lb by the handicapper, she looks open to further improvement.
