Expert Analysis
One Look was the form standout beforehand, but failed to run her race, and a stablemate made all and was seen to good effect, her finishing speed 110%. Still, she won with plenty in hand and should be competitive in a higher grade.
MOODY made it three from three since joining Paddy Twomey, returning from a break and showing versatility, dropping down in distance and running on faster ground than her two previous wins. Billy Lee controlled the race from the front, but she still won with plenty in hand and is unexposed after just five starts.
RHAPSODY was rated just 92 beforehand but justified the decision to run her at this level to get black type while also leaving the impression she had more to give. She did best of those held up in a steadily run race and can do better granted a truer test.
NYRA was well-positioned and had her chance, running around under pressure and her attitude against less than convincing.
FRANCOPHONE never held any winning chance but ran on a little late. She could do with being dropped in class.
DREAMASAR has done best in well-run races over further and looked unsuited by this steady pace, doing as well as could be expected in the circumstances.
ONE LOOK was the clear pick on her Pretty Polly second but was nowhere near that form here. She was better positioned than most tracking the pace but failed to pick up. She would prefer slower ground and may have found this coming too soon after a hard race last time.
SUBSONIC was never involved.
SPICY MARGARITA was up against it at this level.
