DOVE MOUNTAIN may have to give weight all round here, but he is still well treated on official figures and was not disgraced in a similar contest at Stratford last time. Towering won three starts ago in selling company so is worth a look despite his recent efforts, while Lunar Logic looks best of the rest, though they are quite rightly rated well below the better horses.

Mizen Master followed up a Stratford success with a good second at Bangor last time and has claims, but giving 5lb to POMME may prove too much to bear. Nigel Hawke's mare ran out an impressive winner over C&D last time and a similar effort could well be enough. Jonjoela has some good form between the flags but lost heavily on her hurdling bow, while Wells Gold was also a decent sort in points.

Whos De Baby followed up a wide-margin Bangor win with a desperate effort at Stratford and all depends on whether he can rediscover his form, while Leading Score has been consistent enough, but has been beaten double-figure lengths on all those recent placed efforts. MIAMI PRESENT gets the vote, having run well for second at Stratford last time and a 3lb rise for that effort looks fair.

BLAZING GLEN appeared to relish the return to fences when second at Worcester last time and if he can build on that second-placed effort he could be tough to beat. Charlie Mon was not far away over C&D last time and looks the biggest danger, while Moorlands Mist and Kapgarde King both finished third on their respective latest starts and might be capable of getting involved.

Some consistent types in this merit respect, including Little Pop, who has followed up a Southwell success with placed efforts at Ffos Las and Worcester. Lord Ben has been a model of consistency of late, while Muwalla has also held his form well since winning on his last outing at this track, but a chance is taken on INDIAN VOYAGE. The nine-year-old has struggled in recent outings, but is now 11lb lower than when beaten less than a length at Wetherby in December.

THREE STAR GENERAL embarks on handicap hurdle company off what looks a workable mark, having scored at Worcester in June and followed that up with a second-placed finish under a penalty. Waltz Darling belied his long odds to finish second over C&D last time and has claims off 4lb higher, while Kayla struggled off her current mark at Fontwell last time but looks capable if producing her best form.

CHARLIE PAPA LIMA has been knocking on the door of late and a return to the same sort of form as when second at Southwell on his penultimate start might be enough here. G'day Aussie is still 7lb higher than his last winning mark but could come on for his first run since a mini-break at Bangor earlier this month, while Borderlinedecision has had his supporters in recent starts so must eventually prove better than he's shown lately.
