DALRYMPLE put up a decent effort last time at Hereford when runner-up in handicap hurdle company and a similar performance would see him go close dropped into selling grade for the first time over timber. His pilot has yet to ride a winner under Rules but the six-year-old still makes appeal. Truckers Princess is 2lb lower than when winning this last year and must go close if in similar heart whilst The Society Man and King's Road are also respected.

This will depend upon which of the fencing newcomers takes most fluently to their new discipline and COASTAL BOY is a rather hopeful choice. He hasn't shown much at all over timber but it's clear that Kim Bailey is keen to get him going quickly over the larger obstacles. His point-to-point form in 2011 was promising. Rear Admiral looks a useful type for fences and arrives in good heart whilst Qalinas and Marie Des Anges complete the shortlist.

J'Adhere looks in the handicapper's grip whilst Switched Off clearly has ability. The latter looks a danger to all if consenting to deliver his best but the vote is awarded to PEAKS OF FIRE. Joanne Foster's gelding is a consistent if limited performer but crucially has a heavy ground success on his CV and the talented Samantha Drake takes off a valuable 7lb in the forecast conditions. River Dragon appeals as the most viable alternative.

This will seem more like 4m in the forecast heavy ground and OVERYOU looks the one to be with off an unchanged mark after going down narrowly to Leac An Scail at Hexham in similar conditions last time out. A genuine mare, she can go well for Chris Grant whose horses are running consistently well at present. Bishophill Jack will be a potent threat if handling trip and ground whilst heavy ground performer Soudain also merits respect.

BILLY CUCKOO concedes weight all round in what are sure to be demanding conditions but he's proved himself a progressive sort since joining Tony Coyle in the summer. His latest effort, under similar conditions, culminated in a close second to Tipsy Dara and he can go one better here off the same mark. Pickworth should have more to offer over fences but the ground is a concern and Truckers Benefit, unluckily brought down latest, is preferred as the main danger.

Life Long ran really well at Warwick this month on his first outing since midsummer 2011 when runner-up in a fair handicap hurdle but the 'bounce' factor must be taken into account and he's yet to prove himself under such testing conditions. A chance is taken with HENOK on his first outing since March and on his first run for the David Pipe yard. Market support would strengthen confidence, whilst Doncaster scorer Killimore Cottage commands considerable respect too.
