BOXING SHADOWS sets the standard on all known form and a reproduction of his latest effort, when beaten by under a length over 6f here, may suffice over this shorter trip. David Brown is capable of readying a newcomer and his Sixty Minutes, who fetched 29,000gns as a yearling, looks the main danger on his racecourse debut, as both Faffa and Con Leche are exposed as moderate performers and would be surprise winners.

MAJURO looks the safest option in a trappy claimer. Charles Smith's representative dead-heated over 6f in a Lingfield contest when last sighted but stays this extra furlong equally well and rates the one to beat with his well-being assured. Light From Mars remains a major player at this sort of level and can battle it out for the minor placings with Miami Gator, who would be dangerous if granted a soft lead in this small field.

Abbraccio sets the form standard with his official rating of 72 but he is more exposed than DUTCH MISTRESS, who ran a race full of promise when second on debut over track and trip earlier in the month and may be capable of going one better with the benefit of that initial experience now under her belt. David O'Meara's newcomer Frontier Fighter merits a market check as he wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to take a hand.

INFINITE MAGIC was poorly positioned in a slowly-run race on his handicap debut over 1m at Kempton so is forgiven that effort and fancied to gain compensation, assuming there is a truer gallop. Glory City opened his account in a C&D maiden when last sighted and has shown in the past, when placed here in October, that this sort of mark is within his range. Tight Knit, another C&D maiden winner on his latest appearance, has place possibilities as well.

A trappy race and nothing can be recommended with much confidence. ROYAL SEA failed to justify market support when thwarted on his handicap debut here earlier in the month but is less exposed than most and could still be weighted to win races for David O'Meara. Lord Of The Dance is unpenalised for landing a 1m apprentices' handicap at Kempton and has claims, along with Count Ceprano, who struck over the extended 1m here latest.

The feature race on the card can go the way of VIEWPOINT, who backed up a solid Kempton second when scoring over 1m2f at Lingfield. Richard Hannon's charge is still progressing and his stamina for the trip means he just shades the vote ahead of Rakaan, who is thriving at present but has produced all of his best form over shorter (up to an extended 1m). Boonga Roogeta, back from a spell hurdling, and Askaud, who is sliding down the weights, are other lively dangers.

Michael Appleby has his string in good order at present, as evidenced by a Lingfield treble last Saturday, and there may be better to come from his HONOURED, who appeared to improve for the step up to this trip here last time and isn't weighted out of a follow up off 4lb higher. Boa and Honest Deal are closely matched on last month's C&D running and can battle it out for the minor placings.
