My Lord has been knocking on the door in two starts at Plumpton and has to be considered, though he is forced to give lumps of weight to LEAN BURN here. A solid third at Leicester earlier this month, he is up 1lb for that effort and could be capable of getting back to winning ways here. Gud Day was beaten a fair way into third at Uttoxeter latest but the handicapper has relented in dropping him 2lb, while Skyfire is 5lb lower than when fifth here latest.

PIXIEPOT has gone close on her last two visits to this track, including when runner-up last time, and split those runs with a solid second at Carlisle. Peter Niven's mare may not have won since her debut at this track, but she looks capable of ending that barren spell here. Money Maid produced a highly encouraging return to action from over a year off at Southwell and is interesting, while Miss Joeking failed to follow up her Hexham win at Uttoxeter last time, but it may be too soon to write her off entirely.

PALM GREY was a good winner over Pixiepot here last time and if that rival runs well in the preceding race, it will only strengthen the claims of Sue Smith's charge here. Dreams Of Milan made a satisfactory reappearance at Exeter latest and has strong claims if building on that effort, while Solway Legend has been kept busy so far this season but showed when third at Doncaster that he is not feeling any ill-effects.

Not A Bother Boy has rattled off a hat-trick of victories recently, two of them coming over fences, but he is now 16lb higher than the first of those wins. Settledoutofcourt struggled off today's mark at Carlisle having struck at the Cumbrian venue prior to that, while Soudain is looking very attractively treated on his best form but has been off the track since March. Preference, therefore, is for ULTIMATUM DU ROY, who has been a model of consistency this term and is only 4lb higher than when successful at this track in March.

The veteran Willie Hall ran well enough here last time but may struggle from 5lb out of the handicap, so more recent course winner CHANKILLO gets the vote. Sarah-Jayne Davies' gelding was a shade disappointing at Ludlow last time, but the return to this sort of trip could see him in a better light. Grimley Girl was not disgraced at Ludlow last time and is only 2lb higher than when successful over timber here last term.

6

15:20 Market Rasen (Class 4) (3YO plus)

Vaillant Creek has been consistent enough and could be in the mix, while Ben Cee Pee M ran well here on his reappearance and may flourish back at this track. Touch Back and Rushvale are others who have been running well without winning, but they may all have to give best to STAND TO REASON. Tony Carroll's gelding showed the benefit of his reappearance run when fourth at Kempton last time and he is only 5lb higher than when bolting up at Stratford in July.
