Several of these met at Ayr last week when Compton Classic narrowly got the better of HOW'S SHE CUTTIN' but the latter is 1lb better off today and that could be enough to see David Barron's representative reverse the placings. The selection has plenty of early pace to make good use of her handy starting position near to the far rail and she remains open to lots of improvement with only four career starts under her belt. Sharp Hat wasn't far behind in third at Ayr and could make the frame, along with Elvina.

This could be the perfect opportunity for regular runner-up BRENIN GWALIA to get off the mark. David Simcock's colt has lost little in defeat behind two decent sorts in handicap company on his last two starts and will find this a much easier assignment. A thoroughly consistent sort, he can be trusted to give his all and is readily preferred over Telling and Bungie.

It is almost four months since MY LEGAL EAGLE has been seen on the track but he has gone well fresh in the past so that break isn't much of a concern. Although in the latter stages of his career, the selection showed himself to still be capable when running well in some better contests than this earlier in the year and his proven ability to handle easy ground is also a positive. Fellow veteran Totally Scottish should be able to mount a challenge, while Mystified is interesting now dropped to this level.

Cream Of Esteem returns from over a year off the track but has claims if fully tuned up for this reappearance. However, preference is for PRINCESS OF AENEAS, who is the best of these according to official figures. Ian Semple has a good record with his runners here in recent years and his filly has run some fair races in defeat this term. This is her easiest assignment to date and today's trip and shouldn't pose any problems. Manhattan Jack and Robeson are others of interest in a relatively open looking event.

AQUA sprung a surprise when scoring in a C&D seller two weeks ago but she has to be fully respected on the back of that run. It took a career best effort to get her head in front that day and a similar display should suffice in what looks a lesser contest. Conditions were on the soft side on that occasion, so the recent downpours will be to her liking and Phillip Midgley's filly is taken to get the better of Coronation Flight and Boucheen.

The way CHOREOGRAPHIC has been running on over 7f gives the impression an easy 1m trip such as this will be right up his street. Richard Fahey's gelding comes here on the back of a decent run to be placed at Redcar last month and a reproduction of the best of his form would see him go very close in this company. Never Say Deya makes the long journey from Berkshire and could be a popular choice, while it would be dangerous to dismiss Fairy Monarch.

Hows That landed a 1m claimer with something to spare latest but the drop in trip is not in her favour and it could pay to take her on with CUT RIDGE, who has gone near in better company in recent months and will relish this notable drop in class. Cape Sydney is open to further progress after landing a Catterick maiden at this distance while Miskina can go close if transferring her recent all-weather form to turf.
