SEE VERMONT looks the most solid option in here having maintained his fine recent form when only finding one too strong over this C&D eight days ago. He seems sure to lay down another bold challenge and is preferred to Twentysvnthlancers, a winner at Carlisle last time and seemingly on the upgrade himself. Danzeb and Run Rio Run are others to consider.

Soundstrings finally came good when winning at Catterick but this looks much tougher and she could be worth taking on with LINCOLN ROCKS. The selection made it two wins from her last three starts when winning at Hamilton and a further 4lb rise in the weights might not be enough to halt her progress. A return to form could see Forever A Lady involved but she has been disappointing of late.

YORKSHIREDEBUT has been steadily improving with racing and took another step forward when scoring over this C&D last month. There should be a bit more to come from Paul Midgley's charge and she is preferred to debut Beverley winner Bay Station. Sky Gypsy is another who was successful last time, getting her head in front at Pontefract, and she completes the shortlist.

MUJAAMIL finally got off the mark at the fifth attempt at Ripon last month and, with the William Haggas yard currently flying, a win on handicap debut looks very possible. Planetaria has been in excellent form throughout the season and has to merit consideration, while La Contessa is entitled to show improved form now tackling handicap company for the first time.

SPACE MOUNTAIN was disappointing last week at Haydock but can be forgiven for the effort, as the ground was far too soft for the son of Sea The Stars, and the fact Mark Johnston is running him again fairly quickly signifies confidence that he has recovered completely. Introductory proved her versatility when winning on turf here last month and is a key player with an extra furlong and a half to suit. High On Light and Novalina look best of the remainder.

Plenty of these have chances but none more so than FALCON'S FIRE, who is a progressive three-year-old and he was an impressive winner at Newcastle last week. He started the year with an official rating of 55 and there is no evidence to suggest that 70 will be his limit. The hat-trick seeking Henry Smith is another feature high up on the shortlist, while similar comments apply to Amirli and Neuf Des Coeurs. Gabrial The Terror and Jan De Heem may find a few too good but could pick up some place money.

If Gypsy Major can transfer his recent form on the all-weather to the turf then the four-year-old is likely to prove very hard to beat. That said, a chance can be taken with DARK COMMAND, who could represent some each-way value. He may still be a maiden but he often makes the frame and Michael Dods' horses are in great form at the moment. Arizona Sunrise beat the selection by a nose when last seen in April and he is actually 4lb better off at these weights but has the 139-day break to overcome.
