POWERSVILLE stayed on well to finish third in a competitive maiden at the Curragh last month and he could take plenty of beating today based on that evidence. Kimono Girl was not beaten far at all when the runner-up on her debut a few weeks ago and she should only improve for that experience. So Enjoy and Sunday Smart are the pick of the remainder.

INTELLIGENCE CROSS is probably slightly flattered by his mark of 110 but he is a well above average colt and should outclass his rivals this afternoon. Similar comments apply to Mr Scarlet but he does have over three lengths to find with the selection based on their meeting in a Group 3 last time out. That said, he is still the main danger today, ahead of the unexposed Flower Of May.

ENJOY LIFE was a consistent performer for Kevin Ryan and she was only denied by a head on her last start for that trainer in July. A few days later the daughter of Acclamation was purchased by current connections for 70,000 guineas and she should be very competitive in a race of this nature. Captain Cullen and Zeeyalater are others with strong form claims, while Twist Of Magic has an each-way chance.

Sirici has been highly tried this year year and she was far from disgraced when only beaten a length in a Group 3 last time out. A mark of 97 is not overly harsh considering what she has achieved and she gets the benefit of her rider's 5lb claim. INDIA RAIN bumped into a high-class filly (who has beaten Sirici in a Group 3 subsequently) last time out and somehow she has been dropped 2lb in the ratings for that run. My Silver Nails was third in that race and has subsequently won from the same mark, which makes the decision to drop the selection in the ratings even more generous. It is too soon to be writing off Blue Uluru and Brick By Brick is also noted.

HIGH EXPECTATIONS has improved his form of late with two successes in 1m4f handicaps at Tramore and Bellewstown late last month and a 6lb penalty for Wednesday's success won't be enough to stop Gordon Elliott's charge. Kozy is entitled to improve on her maiden form now beginning life in handicap company, while Big Ego is capable of further improvement in a first-time tongue tie.

GOLDRUSH will undoubtedly prove a popular selection being regally-bred out of top racemare Alexander Goldrun and being a daughter of the mighty Frankel. She has obviously needed plenty of time which Jim Bolger has given her and she should prove up to making a winning debut. Upgraded comes from an excellent family which includes National Hunt stallion Craigsteel, while Frima sets a fair standard on form and has vital experience in the book.

AR EAGLA NA HEAGLA looks a very interesting contender for Peter Casey making her handicap debut having ran with some promise at Dundalk when last seen over an inadequate trip. The step up to 1m2f will undoubtedly eke out improvement. Fairy Flute has had a small break since a disappointing effort at Down Royal in July and can make her mark here along with No Way Jack.

MEARU appeared not to quite see out 1m4f at Leopardstown back in May when running her best race to date so the drop back to 1m2f can prove the right call in her getting off the mark at the sixth attempt. All The Mollies has been in solid form recently and is back down to the same mark she was second off at Galway last month, while Snap Click could benefit from a step up in trip.
