KEEL BAY ran a cracker to finish a close third on her nursery debut at the Curragh last month and she might be able to go a few places better now. The Ken Condon-trained filly came in for late market support (33s to 20s) and almost landed some nice bets, going down by just a nose and a head. She drops back in trip and another bold bid looks likely. Go Razzmatazz caught the eye when finishing fourth at the Curragh last month and the Richard O'Brien-trained bay is given second preference. Having raced towards rear, she came home well to finish a never-nearer fourth and it will be interesting to see how she fares on her handicap debut. Just a nose separated Rhythm Of Zain and Memory Motel at Naas, and there is likely to be little between them again. Both are sure to have plenty of supporters, while others for the shortlist in this competitive contest are Benevolent and Caleta Sunrise.

Michael O'Callaghan has three in the mix, with Leigh Roche aboard Siesta Beach, who won a barrier trial at Dundalk in August and has finished fourth on her two starts since. Ger Lyons is double-handed with Kirsapp and newcomer Knocklane Lass. Colin Keane has opted to ride the latter, who is out of a half-sister to dual Listed winner Majestic Myles. Life In Colour is another interesting debutant, with this Wendy O'Leary-owned bay a half-sister to Listed winner Master Of War. For a selection, DANCING REBEL gets the nod. Well backed before her second start at Cork, the Ken Condon-trained bay ran a fine race to finish third. She seems to be progressing with each run and is a half-sister to Waikuku, a dual Group 1 winner in Hong Kong. Run Silver Run and Brown Eagle are two others who warrant respect.

INDIANA ROSE might be able to provide Jack Kearney with his first racecourse success in this very competitive contest. From Navan, the teenager gave Effernock Fizz a very polished ride to finish second at Bellewstown last week. He now teams up with Indiana Rose for Pat Martin, with this daughter of Elzaam a winner at Naas in August. She has failed to follow up in three starts since but will be helped here by Kearney's claim. Ceapach Rua is given second preference with Daniel King, who is another very promising apprentice, in the saddle. The Co Cork native made the breakthrough aboard Malbas at Killarney on Saturday and followed up on his very next ride, scoring aboard Plum Perfect at Tipperary on Tuesday. Both of those wins were for Denis Hogan, with Ceapach Rua also trained by the Tipperary maestro. Coffeemeanscoffee beat Ceapach Rua at Cork and the Tom McGuinness-trained six-year-old reopposes. The dual winner is likely to have plenty of supporters, while others for the shortlist are Cork runner-up Tullypole Annie, C&D winner Harry's Hill and top-weight Showmolina.

INFLECTION POINT might be able to defy top-weight and win this for the second year in a row. The Kieran Cotter-trained five-year-old is a talented sort and recorded a third career win at Fairyhouse in July. He had no luck when last of nine on his most recent start at Down Royal and that effort can be discounted. Tide Of Time is a four-time C&D winner and the Eddie Lynam-trained seven-year-old is given second preference. The son of Choisir registered a seventh career success at Bellewstown last week, and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow up. Anjalawi returns to action after nearly a year off. She made the breakthrough on her most recent start at Dundalk in October of last year, and it'll be interesting to see how she fares. Texas Rock beat Dragons Call by a head when they clashed at the Curragh in August. Dragons Call since won at Cork and both are likely to have plenty of supporters. Zephron and Sounds Of Spring are others who warrant respect.

TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS was an obvious eyecatcher on his debut at the Curragh last month and is likely to show the benefit of that experience. The full-brother to dual listed winner Kingfisher recovered from a tardy start to stay on well for fourth place behind New Energy and is likely to improve past third home Barud who was making his sixth start on that occasion. Aidan O'Brien also runs the debutant Ninja who is a half-brother to Cheveley Park winner Tiggy Wiggy and the market will be a guide to his chance. Herring Island had Porto Ercole over three lengths behind in fourth when he finished third in a newcomers' maiden at Naas and is shortlist material along with Adonis who chased home another promising Ballydoyle colt in Scriptwriter at Gowran Park.

Twice a winner over this trip earlier in the season, COILL NA SIONAINNE is holding her form well as was demonstrated at Cork last week. She kept on well to be second to Stylistic Approach and, although the winner did little for the form at the weekend, it looked a fairly strong race and a 2lb rise looks surmountable. Emilie Gray has a 7lb pull in the weights which might enable her to reverse placings with her Listowel conqueror Petticoat Rule and she looks a contender even if her stamina for a mile has to be taken on trust. Martinique looked promising when winning a maiden on soft ground in June and will appreciate the drop in grade having been tried in a Group 2 last time. Rosmana won on soft ground in France and finished a place in front of the selection when fourth at Punchestown last month. Adherents of the 'bounce factor' will be opposing Mean Fomhair whose Bellewstown victory a week ago came after more than eleven months off the track.

FRENCH COMPANY was second over this trip at Sligo in August and filled the same position over a furlong shorter at Punchestown last month. Having been nearest at the finish when half a length behind Miss Florentine on that occasion, stepping back up in distance will play to his strengths and the winner followed up off a 6lb higher mark at the Curragh. Jimmy Coogan's charge can defy a 3lb hike and get off the mark. Leopardstown second Chacha Dancer wasn't beaten far when fifth over course and distance last time and her 7lb claimer continues to impress. Things will fall right some day for hold-up performer Chimeric and going ten furlongs looks worth a try after he came home well to be fifth over a mile at the Curragh, while Light Fury is cut back in trip after a near miss over 1m4f on the all-weather.

There was plenty of money around for WISH ME when he finished a staying-on sixth behind Maunganui on his handicap debut over course and distance. Not seen since that seasonal reappearance at the end of May, a chance is taken that the Elzaam gelding is primed after another lay-off and his trainer had her first winner at Naas in August. Jazzelle was a breakthrough winner for her own trainer when scoring over course and distance last month and she has since run a solid race in fifth at Punchestown. The daughter of Red Jazz handles soft ground. The well-bred Made For Minds had little chance at the weights when third to two well-handicapped rivals at Down Royal and is open to improvement while Lady De Vesci's last win came at this venue a little over a year ago and she's been running consistently over hurdles.1m6f was too far for Clifftop last time and he's better judged on his useful midsummer form although soft ground would not be to his advantage.
